July 12, 20242 yr Don’t wtf Bryce is doing. That’s a pretty simple throw and catch. Hopefully it doesn’t matter

July 12, 20242 yr I’d get Hoffman out of there. That error screwed with him and his command hasn’t been there since that.

July 12, 20242 yr Both Strahm and Hoffman had unusual Walks. Not sure why their usual impeccable control was shaky.

Of course it would be nice if the Phils tacked on a couple of insurancde runs here.

I don’t get why those guys were so far off and then took like 2 steps forward with one out One of the reasons why I don’t like Dave Roberts I think his team makes a ton of mistakes and he also makes some of the dumbest decisions. Like pitching to marsh with a right handed pitcher in the second inning when he could’ve use his lefty for one batter and removed him because he already faced three guys. It makes no sense. I think the Dodgers would be better off with a better manager

July 12, 20242 yr My theory of if you have bases loaded with 1 out or less and don’t score the following then half inning you usually give up a run. My theory involves usually give up a run 75% of the time the next half inning if that occurs

July 12, 20242 yr Had a feeling they’d go Alvarado due to the bottom of the lineup and trying to get him on track. alvarado’s control is just not there consistently. He’s all over the place one batter and the next it’s there and sometimes he loses it mid at bat.

July 12, 20242 yr You guys see me crying on tv at the Phillies/dbacks game it’s cause i wanted a ball

I guess he changes it up to see if he gets a better grip but almost lost the bat on a swing his last at bat His last two bats have been better though. He’s seeing more pitches and making the pitchers work. His first couple at bats since coming back he was just swinging at everything trying to do something. So he’s starting to get back into a rhythm.
