July 11, 2025Jul 11 I know I said I wanted DD to extend Ranger and I still think when he's on he's absolutely dominant but if it came down to he could only extend one of Ranger/Sanchez, I'd go Sanchez too. Sanchez is having an unbelievable year and has more innings than Ranger and not showing signs of slowing down which seems to happen every year with Ranger.

Ranger's back issues scare me. I've already stated i would tag him with the QO. If he is signed by another team, the Phillies at least get a comp pick for him. If he signs it, hey, it's only a 1 year deal.

July 12, 2025Jul 12 It’s is already 3 runs for the padres. And we haven’t even gotten our bullpen. Feels like unless the Phillies score something like six or seven runs tonight they aren’t winning and I don’t think they’re scoring 6 or seven based off the first two innings

I think they had to make a decision on whether they were gonna go with Sanchez or they were gonna go over Ranger. I think Sanchez is being younger and the fact they believed he would hold up better cause he takes better care of himself and he has better stuff was the reason they chose him over ranger. There’s a lot of fans on Twitter that think Ranger‘s gonna be back. I think they made their decision last year. And they are OK with him walking away because they still have Andrew painter who they believe is going to be able to replace him and be better than him ultimately. And they can try to extend luzardo who has better stuff just not as good of being a pitcher

Its like the same sheet with them running it back over and over again with the same damn team. Well its the same thing over and over again with ranger. He would battle even better if the dope took care of himself.
