It was 50 with 18mph winds tonight. And sitting down not moving around can be pretty chilly as the night comes in.I see it with my own eyes, and I know San Francisco has different weather than the rest of the country, but it is still a little surreal to see pretty cold weather in July.I was in San Francisco in October 2010 for an Eagles game, and it was pretty warm. I would've even done a beach day, if not for knowing that all the water surrounding San Francisco is frigid all year.

I’d still went Ross over Romano for the 9th. The other issue is Dave built a crap bullpen. I said it during the off-season that if you’re gonna allow Hoffman and Estevez to walk away, then you have to go out in free agency and get one definite reliable reliever. You can sign Romano. hope he and Alvarado bounces back but you can’t assume or just blindly hope they do. Had to add a proven reliable RP with them. If you get both of them at their best, that’s great cause the bullpen is a strength of 5 arms. but you still should’ve went out and had at least added one reliable reliever and there were guys. They just didn’t. They were just hoping Ross, Romano and Alvarado would all pan out. It was a dumb plan.
July 9, 2025Jul 9 I hate that we have to watch this team not win anything because they refused to build a bullpen

July 9, 2025Jul 9 Man that one hurt. You can see it all unfold in front of you and you know it’s coming but your manager refuses to make a change to try and win the game. It’s unacceptable. I would’ve been fine if Ross was out there but not Romano. Everyone knew this would happen. It’s a shame

You don't win ish in this league without good pitchingIdk the fact Bohm and Castellanos are your two options for cleanup is an issue. The offense is significantly better having that true cleanup hitter. Castellanos on pace for 19 and Bohm 15 homers. Teams in the playoffs will pitch around Harper and schwarber to get to them cause they’ll tip their cap if those guys beat them. Then after them the bottom of the lineup is dreadful. It also Helps the bullpen as you aren’t running guys like Hoffman, Kerkering, strahm, estevez and others into the ground being constantly in close games. Kerkering couldn’t go tonight because last night the offense was god awful with chances to bust that game open Multiple times. Phillies offense does their job last night might not have needed Kerkering

It’s a shameTbh choosing between Ross and Romano is essentially just choosing between having your left leg or your right leg be broken. Ross in his last 7 appearances has given up a run in 5. He’s given up 3 or more in 3 of the 7. Issue is it came down to Ross, Romano or hoping a young inexperienced Seth Johnson could get the job done. Frankly they’d never choose Johnson in that situation but i rather see if he can sink or swim knowing Ross and Romano are Fing awful

July 9, 2025Jul 9 I’d love kwan more if he hit with more power but he is hitting .304 with RISP and .292. Good fielder too
July 9, 2025Jul 9 Harper with a homer, Jt with an rbi single, Castellanos with a rbi single and Kepler with a sac fly….. IN THIS FING ECONOMY!!

July 9, 2025Jul 9 It’s a nice response today from the disaster that happened last night. Players who are in a slump have had some clutch hits today. Now we can only hope it’s not a one and done thing and get these guys going in a rhythm because our only offense has been Schwarbs pretty much this first half of the season. Would be real nice if Harper can keep this up
July 9, 2025Jul 9 Good to see Luzardo with a good start and Harper hitting with power. Now unfortunately after this outburst they won't score worth crap the next 3 games.
