Nice to see castellanos come thru in the clutch just like he did with us

Would’ve came threw if he could drink during the game

Canning had a 9 era coming into this game. Thru 4 innings we have 1 hit and 1 run

It’s the Philly way. We love to make bad pitchers look like hall of famers

I give Kerkering credit, i still don’t trust him. But he could’ve completely fallen apart after what happened at the end of last year. Could have never recovered and just pulled a Mitch Williams after 93 WS

Yeah, but if 4 of your starting 5 are pitching like that there's no excuse why they can't stack wins... oh wait I forgot the offense is atrocious outside of like 2 guys.

Even if you include marsh, Stott and maybe Crawford to list of guys playing well, it shows once again we have zero for a right handed bat

Crawford is in the midst of a 1-26 slump. Crawford like painter was always going to have ups and downs adjusting to the mlb as a rookie. It’s why he should been brought up last year to get half a season of experience and then make offseason adjustments. The stupidity of keeping him in the minors last year with an offense needing an outfielder made no sense.

Realistically the Phillies need a RH RF and a RH 3B that can hit for power. Not sure where they get that from. Another issue is every team besides the Nats and pirates ahead of the Phillies has the tiebreaker for the wild card.

More likely outcome today:

Nola pitches a gem

Or

Tatis hits his 1st HR of the year vs. nola

Admittedly I don't pay much attention to the other 29 teams in MLB. What happened to Tatis Jr.? Injury? He forgot how to hit at 27 years old?

Good thing there's not a salary cap I guess lol

I would say because he got busted for roids. But really the last 3 years he still hit 25,21 and 25 hrs. Probably just an outlier year. But I am sure it is in his head he hasn’t hit one so he’s trying too hard to hit a home run and that’s why he hasn’t.

Yeah, I just think that's kind of crazy. I mean, even Alec Bohm has hit five of them at this point in the season.

that’s why I said through past couple years really should’ve just gotten Cody Bellinger because even though he’s a left-handed hitter, he could still hit both Lefties and righties. Instead, you just kind of kept going back to the well of overpay for a guy on the decline and hope he bounces back and it doesn’t work.

I’d bet tatis still winds up with more HRs than Bohm by years end

Stubbs and soda our best bench bats…

If you do a Castellanos and tatis parlay it’s +4300 so $10 pays $440

Yeah, a soda has more pop than those stiffs.

He gets his regular name back when he starts hitting like last year

other than that, Mrs Lincoln, how was the play…

Temperature is only in the 60s today in San Diego is Nola going to be OK? Is that good enough for him?
