Anyone read Roobs Observations? He's saying Reddick is out best pass rusher since Reggie. Agree?

Probably.

Hugh, Babin, Trent Cole, Connor Barwin probably put up the other biggest sack seasons.  I think Reddick was probably more disruptive this year than any of them.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

For a single season, yeah absolutely. He’s been a monster & has taken over games. He’s a big reason Eagles won today

That SF defense is nasty. They're right up there with the best of the last 10-15 years.

I think that’s a little aggressive.

First team in NFL history to allow less than 10 and score more than 30 in back to back playoff games.

Eagles are better than both these teams. Are they gonna win it again, boys?

Just incredible to watch a complete team dominate

Lane is a stud.  He's been that good for the better part of a decade now but it's only been the last few years the league has finally given him the respect he deserves.

I think the entire "performance enhancing drug issue" (very early in his career) has been a thorn in his side but the guy has been the REAL DEAL for the majority of his career.   He probably should have made at least a half dozen more pro bowls and at least 2-3 more All Pros.

I'm thrilled he's finally getting the respect he deserves.

And a year ago he was battling major depression and anxiety. Basically dissappearing before a game, he has come a long way.

Clyde would be the only one who might be better

Yup

Prime Fletcher Cox is better than Reddick, because inside pressure is more valuable than outside pressure.

As for as pure EDGE/3-4 OLB? Yes, no question. He's better than Sweat, Cole, Graham, Long, Babin, Douglas, Curry, Barwin, etc.

Prime Fletch did more than Reddick, as he could stop the run, get TFLs, and rack up sacks.  That’s like a 5 tool center fielder.  But Reddick is the 1st basemen who fields just fine and has an otherworldly slugging %.  Even though Reddick primarily does one thing, I think he was so exceptional at it this year that his impact exceeded prime Cox.

I don't think Fletcher has ever been close to Reddick as a pass rusher. It's tougher to get pressure on the inside obviously, but Reddick has been an absolute menace this season. He's been at his best in the biggest games, too.

He’s way better than Olsen

No way Romo is awful he makes weird grunting noises and talks constantly - he sucks

At least they're making KC work for it

He's being restrained though, so the ball carrier always gets the benefit of the doubt in those situations. I've never once seen it called where they don't give the ball carrier forward progress on a reach like that.

I agree that's how they call it.  I don't think that that's necessarily the intent of the rule.   BUT... they err on the side of the offense, so, the offensive player gets the benefit.

Yeah, I would put the '13 Seahawks and the '08 Steelers above them, but after that, these 49ers are right up there.

And Clyde had the benefit of Reggie lining up on the opposite side of him.  He was never the same guy without Reggie drawing attention.

I don't understand this talk about the Eagles having an easy cakewalk to the Superbowl. Eagles can't really control the Viking and the 49ers OL sucking so much. Even if Purdy stayed in, the Birds were in the backfield all game. Maybe they would have scored another TD, but I don't think the outcome would have been much different. Eagles were able to string together some nice long drives and wore the defense out way before they lost their composure.

Anybody know if they plan on selling just the patch for the SB?

‘15 Broncos.

All I can say is that we easily win in the trenches vs both of these teams. Just hope that the back 7 shows up to play.

I bet Chiefs go for it.

Reddick is what Jevon Kearse was supposed to be.

Cox best year he has 12 TFL, then 5 the following year. Reddick last few years has had 15, 12, 11 TFL

Didn't he set his career high the year after Reggie left? Or am I mixing up my seasons.

Edit: looked it up, mixed up my seasons, he fell off a cliff after Reggie left
