Anyone have bets out early in the season for Eagles to win the SB? Any substantial amounts thrown down?

I bet on the eagles to cover vs the cowboys and lost. I’ll never bet on a game involving the Eagles again. Bad karma

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I don't cheer for injuries but I did have a chuckle at Bosa getting take out on the sideline by Jobe and then a few plays later getting taken out the same way by his teammate.

He shouldn’t have been standing so close to the sideline

oh I see. the little 3 stooges double eye poke in retaliation. I didnt think he touched him.

Ya it wasn’t much, just a dumb retaliation penalty by Jobe. C’est la vie

Early Bird Special. Eagles beat Chiefs pretty methodically and handily. 38-20. Chiefs settle for too many FGs and are terrible at short yardage, which will do them in. While Eagles will put up TDs with Jalen & RBs plowing them down the field with back breaking 3rd and 4th down conversions, which will frustrate Mahomes and keep him on the sidelines. He will get his bomb to AJ/Devonte in, unless they get a real early lead and just milk it, which happens often this year. Ultimately, great defense wins Superbowls. That will be the key here. Offense will ride on its coattails. Although, they are sustainable on their own merit. Chiefs look like they are gassed and are riding on fumes, although 2 weeks could help them a little, while Eagles have barely broken a sweat. See ya in AZ! 🍻 @TorontoEagle

I'm sure you are just going for the joke... but here's the retaliation.

So any time we talk about the cap, standard response of " but the cap will be higher next year "

OTC has been working on a projection of 225 million.  Only missed it by 200K.

Why waste your time, he is the only one who doesn't get it.

Thanks for the help?

I feel like I always see the OT false starts pop up when people start whining about something. If people watched the games it's been happening literally all year with every team. I've seen it called maybe twice.

Jason Peters got away with it all the time over his career.  Not a new thing.

The Stadium sounded a lot louder on this broadcast compared to the Giants game.

That's funny because I'm not sure that was true. If it was louder, it wasn't really by much. As I said before, I think the energy for the Vikings championship game was even better. And there definitely a lot more people in purple that night than there were in red yesterday. Incidentally I think Mike McGlinchey's family was in the next section over. There were a lot of dudes wearing his uniform. And I found it amusing that at the end of the game they stayed to watch the festivities. They were probably low-key Eagles fans who had to root for the Niners because of "family" but weren't all that upset about the result.

Speaking of exiting the game, it was a near disaster with the subway. The entrance was all backed up, way more than usual. Understandable because everyone stayed for the trophy presentation and then left at the same time. So the congestion was strong. What was troubling for me was that once we got to the subway, they announced that the stop I get off at was closed. Closed? WTF am I going to do? Had to get off at City Hall and then walk about six blocks to a station where I could get a train to Jersey. Walking through the city at night is not something I was prepared for. Fortunately it worked out okay.

Gainwell has been running out of his mind the last two games.  Where has that been?  I've been really down on him but he's changing my mind.

He's always had it. Just wasn't getting the reps early.

I've been a Gainwell supporter for a while. I still question how he would do as the lead back, but he's good. I'm glad he's getting his chance.

He's an awesome change of pace guy. Pair him up with a bigger guy next year like Zach Charbonnet and you've got a really solid 1-2 punch. RB is about depth now more than ever in this league.

Sermon would get a shot finally hopefully

I just don't see it. But I've been wrong once or twice before.

Some on social media are trying to assert Tony Romo stopped himself from saying "Three (N-words) on Pacheco's 18-yard run after he broke 3 tackles.  He did say "three ni--" then changed mid-stream to something else.

I don't believe it's what he was going to say, but it is comical.

I really wish the guys in the bosa video would’ve told him to relax and take 27 seconds to calm himself. Or ask him if he spent 27 dollars on his bud light seltzer

Uh oh

This made my brain hurt lol

Pretty sure he meant "defensive"

Might have been posted already, but according to Rapoport, Ryans has told the Broncos he's no longer interested in their head coaching vacancy ....
