Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Maybe I'm just a jerk that doesn't realize I'm a jerk

Doubt that. I've lived in HI for more than a decade. Like anyplace, there are welcoming and not so welcoming folks. Also depends on where you go. Some folks are just tired of tourism, like the Road to Hana, and the locals are hostile. Overall though, Aloha is more than just a word for many who live here. It is a spirit and value system of how to treat each other. Have lived all over the East Coast and in California, I would say that HI is by far, the best place in terms of the people. It is odd though. For example, people don't honk their horns while driving and drivers break every driving law to let someone merge into traffic -- very nice but annoying if you aren't from here. On the other hand, if you do honk at someone, it is very possible that the Bruddah you honked at will follow you to your destination and want to kick your a$$.

What kind of trouble are you having? I haven’t had any trouble with Gamepass for several years.

There were some games this year where it went down - now I was randomly lucky and was ok, but I know people who missed a half because of it.  And the inability to have spoilers in the app and fast forward meaningfully is annoying.

But the DAZN app has less than stellar reviews, so it could well be switching one crappy service for another. And no doubt paying more for the privilege

Terrestrial TV here... or Sky Sports. But it's on out main channels.

It’s on sky sports here in Ireland which isn’t the UK but as far as the NFL is concerned(and WWE) it’s treated the same. Is terrestrial TV the beeb ? There something weird with the bbc and ireland where it blocks sports to Ireland, and I’m not listening to Neil Reynolds for hours.

Mentioned this a couple of weeks ago on here. DeVonta is a killer in big games.

Jonathan Gannon will probably give him and AJ Brown a ride to the stadium on game day.

IMO the Eagles have a better chance of losing if Hurts plays a bad game than if Mahomes plays his A game.

I think the Eagles can still beat the Chiefs if Mahomes plays his A game, assuming the Eagles still get after him on defense, and their offense is as dynamic as it has been all season. But if Hurts doesn't play well, the team has little to no shot.

Hope Hurts has a big bounce back performance after not throwing the ball well vs the Niners. Even some of the throws he completed, you can tell he was off. Like that one throw to Devonta on the left sideline, he kinda had to fall down to catch it since it was low and behind him.

I don't think it was the shoulder though. I think it has more to do with what we saw from 2021 Hurts. If you go back through Hurts short time in Philly, the games where he struggles most are games where he gets antsy in the pocket, and his accuracy suffers big time. And it usually seems to happen most with teams that have strong edge pressure. Hurts likes to be able to escape to the edge and throw on the run. But I think vs the Niners even though we stifled their pass rush, I think Hurts almost came into that game sweating it a little too much, and he didn't trust his OL enough to hold up for him and he started to get happy feet, and bail the pocket early.

What I think favors the Eagles and Hurts Sunday is the Chiefs best pass rusher is an interior DL. The Chiefs have some solid edge rushers, but no one dominant. I don't think Hurts is going to get all antsy on Sunday like he did vs the Niners.

Ever since Comcast bought Sky, their coverage has been less than good.   The game is on ITV now, but then it means Osi. No win ether way.

Good stuff.  You gotta love him.

For a donation you can be entered into a chance to win two Super Bowl tickets, and meet Brian Cranston.

Hurts has made good decisions since his injury. He has bailed early on a couple of pockets, but the biggest issue has been deep accuracy. His short-medium accuracy has been fine.

Hopefully the shoulder is good enough.
