Saw one on SeatGeek for $3,950 with $1,300 (!!!!!) in fees tacked onto that. What a joke.

Looking at tickets for the NFCCG I calculated that Ticketmaster fees were 17% of the price of a ticket.

Stubhub was considerably more and I'm not sure there was any consistency from one ticket to another.

Ticketmaster has a bad rap for being the most well known in an evil industry. But I think they're likely more fair than anywhere else.

I also give them credit for showing the price with fees, automatically, if you choose that setting. And if not,  you see the fees and total cost on the very next screen.

On stubhub they keep that price hidden through about 5 or 6 next steps,  and you don't see your actual total until it's ready to take your payment.  One wrong click and your screwed.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Broncos are in fine shape, cap wise, even with Russ' contract. Plus, there are contracts they can move on from this year (Darby, Glasgow, etc.) and next year (Gregory, Sutton, etc.) that will free up even more space. And they will have their 1st round pick back in 2024.

Payton's a great head coach. It's a risk worth taking. No one else out there in the coaching hiring cycle has his resume. And Brees is on the record of crediting Payton with helping him become the QB he did. Brees was going nowhere with the Chargers and it wasn't until he joined Payton in New Orleans that his career took off. And let's not forget that the Saints were a doormat franchise until Payton got there.

Wilson's problems were mental mistakes, along with a torn lat in his throwing shoulder and a piss poor OL. Still, he had moments where he showed his physical skills are there.

All the Broncos did was, in reality, trade Bradley Chubb, a player who never lived up to being the 5th overall pick in 2018 (which got them the 30th pick which was originally belonged to SF) for Payton, as well as, swapping a 2nd for a 3rd in 2024.

Draft picks are important, but lets be real, many of them bust...they're crapshoots. How has keeping and making all those picks over the last 6 years helped the Broncos?

A homer Broncos fan? Keep up the good work!

You have to be quick and prepared. They are not the most agile amphibian. I go with a lower iron to avoid too much lift. Not so much a score as a body count...

The reason for the rather cold blooded approach is that if a dog bites them, the dog with likely die or have organ damage. They secrete a toxic from their skin.

also, night time, is the right time 😉

That’s the worst photoshop I’ve ever seen

We actually started, there were lots of them in the yard, catching them and taking them to a nearby creek. Maybe the second time, my then 8 year old opened the bag to let them out and there was a giant Vietnamese centipede, flaming red, right next to his hand. I cautiously moved him away, said to myself this is stupid and moved on to the clubs. I took it as a sign to be a bit more practical with the problem.

That might be my worst nightmare.  Worse than snakes (not the trouser kind) or spiders.

So true - that’s exactly who Rodgers is at this point.  A phony who tries to sound smarter than he is.

Why’d you have to tell him?!

Since no one wanted to give me an actual update on Hurts’ shoulder, I looked into it. From what I can see, it looks fine. I just hope it sobers up before the game.

What the f brought that up?  I doubt very seriously that he’s talking about that, right now.

It's probably an out of context answer from a question from media night last night.

Who had Murder Hornets eating Giant Red Vietnamese Centipedes and Chinese Spy Balloons zapping them from space?

Should be a pretty good payoff...

If the Jets can’t get Carr or Rodgers I wonder what they’re gonna do at QB. Minshew? Jimmy G?

They’re horrifying. And their bite is apparently the most painful thing in the world.  I have a terrible habit of going down rabbit holes where I’m looking up the most deadly creatures on the planet. I learned a lot!  Next time you’re in Australia you should put a blue-ringed octopus on your tongue!

My friend who’s a bartender and I had a conversion for the entire giants/commanders game about what animals we could beat in combat only using our hands. It’s wild what you can think of
