Geez, a guy from the 90s Cowboyz team that used to party at the white house is accused of sexual misconduct?  Sad day when one of the paragons of virtue come tumbling down.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I've heard some people say they think the Chiefs strategy will be to shut down the run and force Hurts to throw. I don't think the Chiefs can shut down our run unless they do something insane like literally put 11 men in the box.

The Eagles just gutted the #1 run defense in football and in a game where the Niners knew the Eagles needed to run because Hurts was off. I think the Eagles can impose their run on any opponent.

Chiefs best defense is their offense. They should want to make it a shootout and make the Eagles one dimensional. Part of my fear is Sirianni/Steichen's game plan entering the game is expecting a shootout and will just come out predominately passing. They did that a lot last year.

Look at that look on his face.  He's effing with the reporter.  I think that's Devonte for "none of your business".

Why can't the Chiefs shut down the run ??

Rushing yards per play against.

Chiefs 4.4

Eagles 4.6

Walter White in Breaking Bad.  Was also the Dad in Malcolm in the Middle

I haven’t watched dramas since I was a kid but I do remeber him from Malcolm in the middle.

Man, that Pappy 15 must have cost a pretty penny. I've yet to find a place to do tastings for less than $200 around here.

My buddy paid at that bar, so not sure what that cost.  We were there about 45 minutes, and his tab was almost 400 for 7 people.

Same here. One of my favorite shows of all time. It got a bit dicey in the last season, but the movies made up for that. I hope that they film a fourth one.

Seriously, I got lost. Which show?  That is high praise and I want to check it out.

Credit for mentioning The Honeymooners. I think Gleason was the greatest comic in television history.

Audrey was no slouch either, to play off Jackie with a straight face must have been a chore.

OK, and now I'm dreaming about football.  I had an odd game where we started out very slowly, an early fumble from Jalen.  I knew we'd win though, but that we just started slowly.  I think this is probably too much looking at the 'leaked script'.  Bring on Sunday!

All In the Family is far superior to any of those, but I wasn’t even a fan of it.

It's an all-time classic, but when I went back to watch it many years after its first run I found all the bickering and yelling kind of draining to watch.  The funny thing about the show, its intention was to portray Archie as a racist, ignorant, ultra conservative person while the Mike and Gloria characters were supposed to be his level-headed, educated, enlightened relatives to steer him in the proper direction.

I read a commentary about the series, where a reviewer posed how objectionable the Mike Stivic character was.  He lived under Archie's roof on free room and board, ate everything in his fridge, had sex with his only daughter in the next room -- and had the gall to lecture Archie on almost anything and everything going on in the house.

It gave me an entirely different perspective on the series after that.

Norman Lear in the 70's...

Good Times, One Day at a Time, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, One Day at a Time reboot, and on and on. He did push boundaries and social commentary, Black struggles and successes, single moms raising teenagers, etc.

Put some young comedians on the map along the way. Freddie Prinze, Jimmie Walker...Supported some older ones as well, like  Redd Fox, for instance.

Some misses, a lot of hits...

..nuff said.

Not sure what point you are making here. Our run defense was by far the weakest link on the team this year. So the Chiefs run defense is good because it is slightly better than our decidedly mediocre run defense? The chiefs were t15th in run defense. Is that your definition of good?

I wouldn't know, Seinfeld sucks.

Name your favorite show, and then ask yourself if it will still be syndicated and broadcast on multiple channels every single day in the year 2048.

Those season averages are incredibly useless.  Lots of inseasonal variation as personnel on the teams changes and opponents change.

The Golden Girls if 100x funnier than Seinfeld.

Now I know you're drunk.  Golden Girls was predictable, lame 80s humor.

Part of what makes the show great is the writers they brought in, and incorporated episodes of the show from the writers' personal experiences.

The Soup NSDAP, Festivus, The Chinese Restaurant, He Took It Out, and many others were actual events that took place, and related to a mass audience.
