They all make it seem like they were so close otherwise.  They had the living daylights beaten out of them.  It was a buddy bowl level ass beating.

Yup.

This eagles team will look much different then this year's super bowl roster but it would be awesome to beat them next year and shut them up, though I'm sure they'd still find more excuses.

I love when a player starts with, " not to make excuses..." Then goes into with a laundry list of excuses.

Take your loss like a man and stop whining.

Having that I could see the niners beating the eagles next year then walking around all year puffing their chests...then missing the playoffs...😒

He wanted out to get a new deal and was looking a bit washed and Goedert was looking better.

If they offered the job I think they would take it.  Neither is really in a place where they can turn down a job because other teams are knocking down their doors to hire them.

Some of these 49ers players’ comments just aren’t rooted in reality between Aiyuk and McCaffrey today saying they feel like they got robbed and want the rule for an emergency third string QB. They lost by 24 and got their asses kicked while the Eagles laid on the ball the entire second half. If they had lost by a touchdown, I’d understand the sentiment. And maybe they should take it up with their quarterback killer coach for trying to block one of the premier edge rushers in the league with a backup tight end that led to him getting hurt. That would be a conversation worth having.

Bengals dressed 3 QBs for their playoff game.  The Niners just need to ask themselves why they weren't smarter.

The Eagles went through the same thing when Wentz was knocked out against SEA and McCown had to keep playing after tearing his hamstring.  The difference is, Eagles didn't whine about it.
