49ers have a better D than Bengals and Chiefs scored 42.

Chiefs have a better offense than Cowboys who scored 40 against us.

You continue to state this as if it has any relevance at all.

Colts held the Eagles offense to just 17 points and the Colts suck!!!

We are DOOMED!!!

But, the Colts beat the Chiefs (also holding the Chiefs to 17)... so the Chiefs are DOOMED!!!

🤯   It's almost like they need to play the game for us to figure out who wins.

I agree with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust.  MAKE THEM try to stop the run.  Don't go away from it. Don't get cute. Pound it and then open up downfield.

And I watch 10 hours of NFL channel a day at work.  Eagles are getting plenty of love.

In the interests of fair play and TV, yeah, but the overall consensus I'm seeing is KC being handed the Trophy because...reasons...

Chiefs aren't pushovers, mahommes isn't Daniel jones or Brock purdy.

He's the real deal and gives them a shot to win everytime he's on the field.

Eagles D is better than the Bengals who held chiefs under 30 and made em kick some FGs if eagles can limit chiefs to FGs instead of TDs they're usually efficient enough in the red zone to get tds.

I expect the first half mahomes will have a near perfect QB rating as it usually takes Gannon a half to adjust, if he hasn't let mahommes go off on the first half and score a bunch in the first half I figure Gannon makes enough adjustments and eagles pull away in a close one.

I agree on our D versus the Bengals D and of course on Mahomes.

I think our game plan is rush 4 and drop 7. With CJG up on Kelce.  Trust the LBs and ends to see the screens.

I think Mahomes will be a bit gimpy and more limited on the move.  He did not look crisp last game AT ALL. Two receivers may be gimpy or made gimpy quickly.  Not sure JuJu's knee holds up.  Toney has a bad ankle.  These are REAL issues. They have NOT PRACTICED AT ALL.

With that said, not sure the D will need to adjust much if the rush is getting home and our coverage guys are doing their thing.  They will have some success with the screens (it's Andy, for Pete's sake) but I am hoping that our LBs can handle it.  MUCH IMPROVED UNIT.  Ranking around 7th on NFL Network's Deep Dive spot on them I saw 2 days ago (not sure how they put together the data though) compared to 28th for Gay and company.  Gay also dinged up. Maybe can't hit as hard?  Maybe limited?  HUGE hole if he is.

Eagles are definitely the more healthy team going in.

Lane is really the only guy dinged but his injury hasn't seemed to effect him much as he's still been dominant.

I agree about the DL ND the screen, going against Andy their Spidey senses should be going off when they have a free run at mahommes and in the past guys like cox and Graham have had a real feel for screens.

Hopefully Reddick does as well as I'd guess Andy and co will try to slow him down by running some screens his way.

While I appreciate the 2 weeks giving rest to the players I'm tired of waiting for the game, it's gotta get here!

That was great.  Thanks for sharing.  I always liked Ricky.  First jersey I owned and still to this day is the most comfortable jersey I own.

Aren't the sleeves too short?

It’s better for the NFL for the Chiefs to win. Mahomes at least starting to chase Brady. If Mahomes stays at one, and is 1-2, they can’t create a "new potential GOAT” narrative for the next decade.

I would LOVE max inside pressure (need big pressure from Hargrave, Suh, LVJ, Cox, Davis-holy s*** when you put all that in writing) and measured rushes from BG and Reddick to mind the edges.  But I could see Gannon allowing them to fly in and put the burden on Edwards and company.  And CJG in the box too.  Plenty to play with on our side.  And I hope he does mix and match like mad.  I won't rip him for coming with a whole bunch of action and movement and changeups.  I will rip him for being too vanilla (unless base vanilla is working of course).

He’s still only 27. Elway lost 3 in a row and he worked out fine

Well, and Hurts of course....who when he overthrew Devonta deep in the last game was quoted as saying he didn't know if his shoulder would let him throw that far. That seems like an injury to note.

Edit: I'm trying to find the quote, I think it was on Twitter that I saw it. If I can't find it, maybe we can ignore.

whoa - don't get too hyperbolic big guy.  Next you'll be saying Mahomes is above average.

Plot twist, the goat narrative is Hurts.

Slow down Ute!

Still prepping the food, marinating Pork shoulder, cooking Red Skinned taters for salad (racist?), need some time to hang Banners, Flags, etc.

Repainting the cornhole decks, rebuilding the Victory Siren, organizing the Fireworks, washing the Jerome throwback Jersey, synching up three TVs, Surround Sound enable, and most important, a plan to Ignore Rhianna and her "Return to Relevancy Tour". :P

Lots to do to be ready for Kick Off Sunday...

So, a target time....6PM...

The vanilla rush 4 drop 7 drives me nuts, hopefully he mixes up his pressures and coverages.

False.

By his own admission, Hurts shoulder is still an issue, and will be until after the season is over and he can rest.

True, forgot about hurts, hopefully the 2 weeks was enough to get him right enough.
