Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

4 pack of questions to bide the time til Sunday:

1. If you could only re-sign one, who would you keep: Bradberry or Hargrave?

2. Would you rather be down 3 points with 2 minutes to go and the ball in the SB? Or up 3 points with 2 minutes to go with the Chiefs having the ball? Both teams have all timeouts.

3. Eagles have the ball on the one yard line, tie game, two minutes to go. 4th down. Go for the TD or kick the FG?

4. Eagles up 5 with a little over 2 minutes to go. Chiefs have zero timeouts. Eagles have the ball on the +35 yard line. 4th and 1. Go for it to ice the game and risk the miss and Mahomes getting the ball back with great field position to drive for the win. Or kick the FG make it an 8 point game and guarantee OT at worst?

Joe Banner being bad at math was not on my bingo card.

What officiating error is Banner referring to?  The Smith reception?   That's not an officiating error.  That's Shanahan not having the guts to throw the challenge flag on a play where the Eagles' WR clearly indicated he didn't think he caught it.

As for the rest of the tweet regarding the Eagles being shut out... I do wonder how one officiating error would erase 3 first half TDs.  Come on Joe... :nonono:.   Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he meant first QUARTER and not first HALF.  Either way, he's still wrong, because it wasn't an officiating 'error'.  That's called human limitations.  In real time, it sure looked like a catch.  In retrospect, with the benefit of looking at more than a dozen different angles... in slow motion... it seemed that Smith didn't actually catch it.  Shame humans don't have the ability to slow down time in reality to be able to go frame by frame... or to be in multiple places at once... and be able to ZOOM IN on the ball whenever they choose.   Instead, those poor humans are stuck being in ONE place at a time, and sometimes have to try to see the play from 30 yards away... and see it in real time.

That you don't see that your above post is condescending as well is the problem so maybe let's try again, you seem like a fairly intelligent person I bet you can figure it out

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

So one more time let's try again sir.

I am gonna reply the way I am gonna reply.  If you choose to post false info, I will reply with the word false and correct it.

If you choose to take it as an afront to you, I can't help that.

I am merely commenting on the information provided.

We also resolved our own "officiating error" on the fumble no call. That error also cost us return yards because they blew the play dead immediately but at least we threw the challenge flag. That's all on Shanahan, not the officials.

Eagles are definitely the more healthy team going in.

Lane is really the only guy dinged but his injury hasn't seemed to effect him much as he's still been dominant.

I agree about the DL ND the screen, going against Andy their Spidey senses should be going off when they have a free run at mahommes and in the past guys like cox and Graham have had a real feel for screens.

Hopefully Reddick does as well as I'd guess Andy and co will try to slow him down by running some screens his way.

While I appreciate the 2 weeks giving rest to the players I'm tired of waiting for the game, it's gotta get here!

Everybody is dinged... but especially Hurts. It wouldn't surprise me if we learn a lot more in the offseason, and I mean a lot.

[EDIT] I see many more picked up on this, sorry. I read these threads in order.

There are ways to correct someone without being condescending.

For instance with my conversation with Jam he forgot to mention Sweat.

Instead of insinuating that he's not a real fan because a real fan couldn't possibly forget Sweat.

I merely made a light joke about it and said and Sweat too...

To which he replied oh yeah him too.

This is generally how two  adults who respect each other generally converse with each other on the Internet.

Now if ones goal on this forum is to constantly attempt to correct others and talk down to them then well done mission accomplished.

You have made very clear that you are more interested in being right than carrying on respectful conversation with others.

Which really is too bad as when you aren't doing so you actually tend to have informative posts.

Yeah true, at this time of year every one is dinged somehow.

And I think you are right about hurts, I'm sure they're keeping it under wraps, the niners we're talking heat about how they were going to test that shoulder by hitting him but they never even sniffed him, I doubt the chiefs will either

Having said that I think the chiefs are still a bit more dinged than the eagles at this point.

It's a long year and sometimes the team that wins it in the end is the team that's the healthiest.

Lane is dinged, Dickerson is dinged, Hurts is dinged, Sanders is dinged, Sweat is dinged, Siposs is dinged... just about everyone on the team is 'dinged' at this point in the season.  The question is how effective can they be despite the dings.

They can do living donor transplants with livers now.

Sanders is dinged?

And does a punter count...😉

Lane apparently can be super effective dinged, he hasn't had much drop off, dude is tough.

If you had your finger on the pulse of this place, "false" is a running board joke inspired by @HazletonEagle that started in regards to Derek Barnett discussions I believe.

The first one was done in 1989.

Sanders has been banged up since like early December. It’s odd how little you seem to know about the team

I'd have a strict screening process... Like a sixteen-year-old Mormon who's never had a drop in his life...

Yes, Sanders is dinged.  He was wearing a brace for multiple games.

Yes, punter counts.  In a close game, ST can mean the difference.

Yes, Lane is tough.  Not everyone can do what he is doing.

Beggars can't be chosers.  Hard enough to find a suitable match on other elements.

False.

I thought it was "Wrong".

By his own admission, Hurts shoulder is still an issue, and will be until after the season is over and he can rest.

Unless, of course, Hurts’ comments are little more than a smoke screen.  Like the walk through five years ago.

It is "Wrong."  I think he got it from Trump.  But, I could be 'wrong' about that.
