Many reports, at one point,  came from 4for4s side.  For constantly being called racists.

Recently. Mod6 declared that many of those posts don't fit his definition of race baiting,  and he would allow it. (Prime example of 1-2 active mods having too much power.  How does 1 mod get to say those posts are allowed, and then suspend those same guys for calling people morons???) We all have to abide by 1 mod's corrupt moral code...

More recently,  most of the reports would be from the RTK side for being called morons.  The mods sided with them and decide "enough is enough."  And ban a guy for using the term "moron" but we still have all of the race baiters here. 

How does that make any sense? It's not right. 

Maybe at one time 4for4s side wanted more moderation.  That was under apparently false pretense that moderation would be rational and fair. It has been neither. 

Some people on here would have cried themselves to sleep at night if they were in the old EMB chat during games.

You sound like goeagles99 when PTate was created on the old board. Engaging new posters is very educational.

This Blog is much less committed to an educational mission than the old Blog was.  It is closer to a hybrid of the old Blog and R&R.

I think the suggestion for reestablishing the R&R forum has a lot of merit.  If that were done, then all banned posters could be reinstated in R&R and restricted to that forum only.

Perhaps there needs to be clear and precise rules for this specific thread then. Mods can sticky it on this forum. If someone breaks the rules then the mods can just point to that rule and deliver the punishment

The posters you mentioned cane and went in the old board which had like 100,000 members. With a constant influx of new members joining. 

We are now a self funded board with only about 1700 members and very slow growth,  the vast majority which are not active and unlikely to be supporting it monetarily. 

At this point,  each member we lose, is likely also costing us the ability to self sustain. 

It's crumbling in more ways than 1. Active members diminishing.  Level of discourse declining. And losing funding. 

It may be a slow death.  But it will die, if this continues.

Yea I never get it. There’s deep lawyer, philosophical, insurance, etc talk that I don’t have interest in, I scroll. People that get into multiple post arguments that lose my interest, I scroll. It’s not hard.

The only explanation is enough is enough. I read the board every day. The emoji has been a common complaint over the last month. None of his posts show that he did anything wrong recently. So until there is further explanation of what the last straw was then it’s just an educated guess.

VA has put a lot of blood sweat and tears in to this place.  I know he is busy with far more important personal issues. But I'm sure he doesnt want to see this place continue to crumble either. It's a special place to all of us.  That's why he made it.  Why he continues to pour so much time in to it despite what he has going on.  That's why we came here.   That's why we support it. 

We decided Reddit doesnt work for us.  What we are finding is,  here isn't working for us either.  

Needs to be fixed. Or more will be banned. More will quit. And this place will fall apart. 

If this board is as important to those who are members if it as all you say then then those who are part of it should show their respect to VA and their respect of the board by respecting the core of it, their members.

4for4 constantly attacked and insulted multiple posters daily and was warned multiple times to temper his interactions with others, he did not and is now banned he had zero respect for it's members and this the board and proved that multiple times 

How is allowing or petitioning to bring back a poster that obviously had zero respect for the integrity of the board that you speak of make any sense in protecting the integrity of the board?

JR would never go to RNR. He never left this thread.

And RNR behavior never used to be tolerated in here. 

Veejer was a great gate keeper who must of us appreciated. He was exceptionally curmudgeonly and never hesitate to call someone a moron and give a face palm. He was never suspended for it. 

Idiots like myself got their act together and improved.  Or, they started out of they couldn't take the fire Veejer was breathing.
