Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I was assuming franchise tag and trade. They'd absolutely find a taker, teams would line up for him, even with the recent injury stuff.

@Ace Nova told me you can't do this.

And that would be a dangerous game putting a 45.5 million price tag on a guy who has missed 10 games the last two years.

Incredible splits

That’s cause it’s when murray was healthy and they’d run him into the ground where he’d get hurt. Miss a couple weeks then come back and not look the same

He hasn't posted since December 9th, so it may not matter.

Early prediction next year. Smith will be the first Eagles wr to have 100 catches in a season. Don't fn steal my prediction trolls!

@LeanMeanGM

I wonder who is going to give Lamar Jackson the money he wants.

Franchise QB movements generally don't benefit the QB or the franchise.  The Ravens have built their offense around his unique, albeit unreliable abilities.  They are non-competitive without him.  But he's not going to make any competitive noise going to any of the teams in need of QB's right now.  He'll just fade into the background.

Atlanta. Perfect fit for that offense.

They have good picks and cap space, and no QB.

And technically, we did not specify regular season, it was 100 catches in two years.

I think Lamar is gonna just quietly go away...he played this all wrong, IMHO...

While I agree the Bears and Ravens should make changes at QB, I have a feeling neither one will.

I would have preferred a more comfortable win but I'm generally satisfied with today. Well, yesterday at this point. It just felt to me as though the Eagles eliminated about 40% of their playbook -- every play with a quarterback run possibility in the design -- and just tried to make it work. And they suffered because of that. You could tell there was something missing. And to add to that, Jalen Hurts looked rusty. And he made two boneheaded plays -- the interception in the endzone in a situation where you're very happy to take the three points, and his decision to throw the ball away with about three and a half minutes to go in the game rather than simply fall down and keep the clock running.

Thank God for Reed Blankenship. I'm talking about the onside kick recovery. That play just saved a whole lot of angst.

Elliott looked good. Kern continues to suck. Boston Scott had another impressive game against the Giants.

It was annoying they couldn't get sacks on the Giants quarterbacks. And they had a lot of opportunities to make plays on the ball but failed to get any interceptions.

I hated the way they allowed the Giants to drive about seventy yards in five plays. I hated the disgusting big kick return they allowed.

Dabol’s approach to QB play was crystal clear … get rid of the ball as quickly as possible so that the Eagles’ big boys can’t feed.  Davis Webb was surprisingly good at executing that strategy.  For the duration of the First Half the Eagles Defense dominated with plenty of QB hurries.  That trend continued for the bulk of the Third Quarter, but as the Fourth Quarter approached, you could see the frustration with the lack of sacks building.  The normally aggressive D-line became hyper-aggressive and assignment discipline broke down.  Daboll may have anticipated (prayed for) that, and when it happened the Giants’ Offense clicked.  Webb was just mobile enough to elude the pass rushers and Dabol’s route designs were solid.  Then as the frustration built he mixed in running plays that very effectively took advantage of the over pursuit.

Contrast that Offensive strategy with how the Eagles’ Offense made adjustments to the Giants full commitment to blitzing (especially DB blitzes).  They didn’t exploit the middle of the field, but rather used lots of bubble screens, very few of which worked.

Wanted to point out, the Panthers went into New Orleans and beat the Saints yesterday, and this is what Sam Darnold brought to the game.

75 yards of total offense from the QB position :roll::roll::roll::roll:

Go back to college and be a great coach there.

Couple trades for more picks cause we needed em.

This is consistent with my goal of keeping the secondary together. Though Id like to mix in at least 1 CB, I didnt. But we do have some prospects on our roster/PS. Still hoping to see something out of Jobe or Goodrich.

Where'd you read that

The Eagles opened the 2017 playoffs against the Falcons with a lost fumble, then gave up a long FG drive.

And they barely held on to win that game.  They got very lucky with a ball that should have been intercepted bouncing off the DB's knee into the arms of Torrey Smith, turned it into a first down and stole a FG at the end of the half, rather than giving one up.
