I would say the easiest path would be

Hawks and Bucs win this week

We beat the Hawks, Bucs beat the Vikings

Eagles beat the Bucs

I get it but I could never think going against Brady in a CCG would be easier than Cousins. Maybe if Brady had a D2 college roster

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I would love to hear his reasoning. Giants could win but it would take a lot of bad play from the Eagles. If the Eagles offense is on, NYG wouldn't be able to keep up. Cowboys could which then narrows the margin of error.

I don't think he has any reasoning. Just a negative outlook type. You know the type. "We suck. The Giants are great. Their backups outplayed us. We should have lost. They'll kill us in the rematch". That type of of thinking.

edit, way to go @Alphagrand  :P

and just for clarity, I'm a Boston Scott Fan too, like @BigEFly. That guy just wants to Win.

Talking about Scott, but I'm sure they both do...:smoke:

Got to believe @ManuManu spit out his drink at the thought of me being a reporter.

Isaac has been playing his butt off, knows the O Line assignments inside out and Stout loves him. Keeps plugging him in.

He's working really well next to Kelce, if Jason stays on, Seamolu does too, IMHO.

Can't see us letting him walk...O Line depth is Life.

I agree, but if you had to choose between Seumalo and a Draft pick CB versus Bradbury and a Draft pick RG who is the likely successor to Johnson at RT, which would you choose?

Kelce getting All Pro again is awesome

We would feast on Tampa's offensive line.  I would say it's trash, but they were getting killed with injuries there even before the season started.  So that's a bit unfair to them.  But in any event it would be a massacre for them.

As long as Stoutland is here, give me Bradberry and the draft pick RG all day.

I wonder what got Mark Andrews ahead of Goedert

Great news for our 2024 2nd round pick

Nope, because the voters are old.

Boomers don't have time for that.

Yeah I guess that could be the case.

But "All Pro” voting seems to help a lot?  I’m guessing as time moves on, some of the "All Pro” voters will be getting younger, etc and they likely will start paying more attention to (at least some) of the advanced stats, etc? And that could help some of these guys get more "All Pro” votes…which could lead to more getting into the HOF?

I think notoriety is a big factor in those harder-to-judge positions. Like Creed Humphrey probably had as good or better a season than Kelce, but he’s not Jason Kelce

Goedert needs that one bonkers statistical year and then he’ll start getting more votes afterward

The toughest road - Cowboys, 49ers

Easiest - Seahawks, Vikings

Easier - Seahawks, Giants

Mark Andrews is better than Goedert. That’s not an insult

Goedert missed some games.  Maybe that's why.

All Pro is about what they did that year. Goedert has some better stats than Andrews this year

It's probably because Andrews is seen, rightfully so, as the #1 option in that offense.  No one else is really close.

I think Goedert is just as good as Andrews, but when you've got Brown going off for 1,400 yards and Devonta is cracking 1,000 himself, it's hard to be seen as vital to your offense.

If the Bucs beat the Cowboys then their OL played well enough

I have no idea what you're asking me lol.

There's only so many HOF'ers elected in a year and there's only 2 all-pro's each year. The basis of their voting may eventually change but everything else would stay the same.

Goedert was doing it with the second team all pro QB.

Andrews did it with Lamar having a down year, and then Huntley, who is absolutely horrendous for 5 games.

If the Bucs beat the Cowboys it's gonna be because their defense stepped up in a big way.  And also probably because Tom Brady tapped into the Tom Brady of years ago.

They've been playing this entire season in spite of their offensive line.

I hope that's not the factor going into the voting. Those kind of things would diminish it IMO

I can't entertain that scenario.

Any successor to Lane would be a Stand-Alone pick of great value, carefully studied, and an early pick, not someone in a multi player deal...unless the entire NFL Scouting System is fully asleep.

The bar is too high with Lane, you don't draft a Guard and convert him to RT to fill those shoes.

Seamulo remains on a new 3 year deal...They figure out how to retain Bradbury and CJG...

Shake your Dice Cup again and throw out a new set of choices...

Like what? Andrews has more receptions, yards, TD’s, 1st downs. Goedert has a slightly better yards per reception and catch %.

I am sure they take that into account, but his numbers are better across the board, except yards per catch.

Additionally, Andrews did not have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith lined up at WR.

I don't remember because I glanced at it when I looked it up. Godert was ahead in a couple of the stats I saw

First go around with mock draft simulators this year...would be pretty thrilled with Carter/Ricks:

Carter would need that pot smoking gas mask from a few years back to fall that much
