Will Josh Allen take that Jalen Hurts step next season???

Josh Allen has won playoff games in multiple seasons.  He has been eliminated by the Chiefs twice, and the defending AFC champion Bengals this year.

Maybe pump the breaks until Hurts has a playoff win over someone other than Daniel Jones and Brock Purdy.

Called that a few years ago.  Good for the NFL in general.

Congrats. You want a fn badge for that?

Top right with the three dots... but editing right now produces a new post, it doesn't change the old one.

Meh - I rather have typos, then make a whole thing about it.  Thanks.

Could impact his free agency.

I think we will see a number of short term deals for RBs because of the incoming RB class and the FA class.

Wait, really? I edit like 98% of my posts. But only see one every time.

How do you know he’s egocentric?  I’ve never really heard too much negative talk around him.  Comparing him to Snyder is a little much.

Go to Amazon order the book, How Jeff beezos is an egocentric A hole for dummies.

Having said that Snyder is on his own level.

Cowboys is a legit defense too though, not bad at all for Mr. Irrelevant

Oh yeah, Purdy did just enough to beat the Cowboys.  HIs numbers weren't flashy, but he didn't turn the ball over and made just enough plays to win the game.  If he can put up similar numbers against us and the 9ers defense can limit our offense we will be in trouble.

While I'd love to see Snyder run that team forever so that Washington can continue to be terrible, Dan Snyder is a terrible owner and an embarrassment to the NFL.  It's a step in the right direction.

Maybe that got fixed.  Yesterday, it was making a new post...

Edit:  Seems it is updated now.   Well done, @VaBeach_Eagle

Allens beaten Lamar Jackso/Tyler Huntley, Philip Rivers, Skylar Thompson, and Mac Jones in the playoffs.

You need to just come on over to the Eagles side at this point.

Prediction: Eagles 21, 49ers 20

Bonus:

Bengals 35, Chiefs 13

I am 100% and Eagles fan.

I can also not be homerific and be objective about other teams.

Thought Dallas might have won it if Pollard didn’t get injured. They started establishing the run against the 9’ers, but when they took Dallas’s Swiss Army knife away that was ballgame. We got plenty of Swiss army knifes to throw at them so obviously establishing the run and getting passes out to our backs is key. It won’t be easy and we gotta be creative to move the ball, but we got a hell of an O line and an MVP QB who’s difficult to contain. Get out to a lead early and if we’re able to limit their backs and contain Deebo and Kittle we should be good. Purdy is gonna be out of his element and if the 9’ers are down by 10 to 14 at the half, maybe Jimmy G comes in if they’re unable to counter offensively. Whatever the situation, I believe we have the advantage and we should be headed to Phoenix when time runs out.

It was way back in week 6, but the Falcons ran a good bit of RPO against the 49ers and they struggled to deal with it.

I’d add, take away the underneath stuff. Obviously with CMC, Kittle and Debo they have a lot of guys who are really good at catching quick passes and making plays after the catch.

Take that away so he has to stand in the pocket an extra second. Give our rush time to get home and take away their best offensive trait simultaneously.

That short stuff is the majority of their game and how to defense the majority of NFL offenses as a whole. Gannon will likely strategize to keep everything in front of the Eagles with a high S.  The key is tackling strong.  49ers are the second best NFC team and will be a challenge.

Going to be a massively physical battle.  Probably fairly low scoring, and turnovers (and points off turnovers) likely is the biggest factor in the game.

I really like our chances.

I see a higher scoring game, in fact I would prefer it. I think players are going to get open, but running the ball will be tough.

Thats what Im telling you.  Youre moving away from "objective" towards straight up "contrarian"

Hurts was the better QB this year and that is almost inarguable now.

I was right there with you. I'm still stunned about it.  But observe reality: Allen was sloppy and hurt his team this year and Hurts was the MVP

While I'll concede that the niners Defense is good I'm a little tired of hearing how they're bullies and eagles should be worried.

We were told the Washington teams front 7 was good and would be a problem, eagles took care of them.

We were told the mighty Titans were bullies Eagles ran all over them.

We were told the cowboys had the number 2 Defense in the league and the eagles even with minshew put up alot of yards and points.

I think an elite O line beats an elite front 7 more times than not.

Sure the boys up front will have their hands full but I think as the best O line in the league by far they'll be ready to smash and mash.

Hopefully Siri and Steichen don't come out and try to throw the ball 60 times.

Mahomes is the MVP.

Allen still has wins in the playoffs in 3 different seasons.

And before you bring up his opponents, Hurts with a win next week will have wins against Daniel Jones ( who I head all last week on this very board is garbage ) and Brock Purdy.

Allen played poorly, but once again, lets pump the breaks a little bit on the comparison until Hurts at least wins a second playoff game, and maybe one next year as well.
