Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Do you put Jalen Hurts in the same category as Josh Allen (among other very good, young and upcoming NFL QBs?)

Not based on who the other QB is that they play but based on the actual teams and the ACTUAL defense Hurts will play against?   Based on what Hurts has accomplished?  Based on how Hurts has taken the next step this year with a 14-1 record (15-1 now)?

How many times do I have to say it.

SOMEONE ELSE RESPONDED WITH THE QB'S THAT JOSH ALLEN HAS BEATEN.

I am not the one that  brought that into the discussion, but seeing as it was brought up, I replied to it.

Once again.

If the Eagles win a SB, then players leave because they got rich off us winning the SB, I'll be very happy.

Who here is mad that Patrick Robinson, Blount, Beau Allen, Trey Burton all got paid in free agency in 2018?

I don’t disagree.  Given all the national attention that NIL has gotten there is more than likely a broader appreciation of the impact of endorsement riches in a market by market assessment.

when I look at the Eagles free agents, some are naturals for that approach, others less so.  Bradberry is one of the less so’s in my opinion.  CJGJ and Hargrave’s are more-so’s.

I'm feeling less pessimistic these days about Howie’s ability to field a comparably good Eagles team in 2023.

He should probably stay in the hospital just to be sure

If the NFL moves to neutral site championship games, that’s one more step towards making the regular season worthless.

I’d rather have a healthy team on the road in the playoffs than an unhealthy one at home.  And then create a situation where no team plays more than 2 games in a hostile stadium?  Once your team is in the 7-4 range, you might as well pull the plug on the regular season.  You aren’t getting a bye and you are going to the playoffs.  And the penultimate game will have no HFA.  Just bubble wrap everyone.

Neutral site favors rich people.  How many people can afford to go to a Super Bowl as a family or even a couple?  How many could afford that and a trip to a Championship game too?  For giant fans, a travel down the turnpike and back was affordable.  With the layoffs in Silicon Valley, I would bet the Eagles have a clear fan base advantage next weekend.  That is part of what this is about.  Maybe cut Roger’s salary so he can identify with normal fans.

Answer the question.  I already said to base it off of who they played/what they’ve accomplished NOT based on who the other QB is.

Do you consider Jalen Hurts among the better young and upcoming NFL QB’s?

Uh oh, Stefon Diggs is pissed at Josh Allen?  He was yelling at Josh Allen on the sideline, then grabbed all his stuff and sprinted out of the locker room before everyone was there.

Cowboys will trade Dak and a first for Josh Allen.

Never had a high ankle sprain. Is each one different? Mahomes was limping pretty bad but went back out. Dallas player had one and went straight to the locker room and then was ruled out for the rest of the game

Yes, like 3 months ago.

Why do we have to circle back to old ish, when it was not part of the discussion.

The discussion was Hurts and Allen are equal, at this current moment, they are not in playoff success.

Dallas guy also broke his leg, so there’s that

It's like every other ligament injury, there's different grades/severities. I'm guessing Mahomes just stretched his. I had one when I was younger and I could barely put any weight on it for a few days and it hurt for weeks.

Any word on McCaffrey's calf? He said it wasn't bad, but it feels like that's how Achilles injuries happen

When have I ever said anything tasteless on here? Go find it. Please.

And it’s not virtue signaling when you’re stating that making fun of someone’s dead mother and insinuating necrophilia is up there with the worst thing I’ve ever read on here.

You should be embarrassed and judging by your reply to me, you are but you’re disguising it with deflections.

If 4for4 has a problem with me he's a big boy and he can stand up for himself, he has in the past.

How convenient of you though to deflect my questions to you by accusing me of deflecting.

So I'll ask again, you seem to be highly offended by comments I made to 4for4 not you, and felt the need to defend him.

Yet when he and others make tasteless comments to me about my wife or religion do you either not find those comments tasteless or do you not feel the need to defend me?vif not you are virtue signaling.

By the way I'm not offended with comments to me about my wife and religion.

I've known alot of the posters in here for close to 20 years and it's good ole ribbing that is expected with the territory and I've been accustomed to.

I'll say the same thing to you that 4for4 Toronto down under and the rest of your " special" circle has said to me many times.

Relax dude, you take this place to serious...

Oh I didn't hear about that. Only heard he had the high ankle sprain. That sucks

Who here is glorifying the rich? Why don’t you answer the actual question?

What question would that be?

Why don't you go to the store and get some saltines you guys seem to be running low...

Not against the Eagle I'm not.  I would root for them over the 9ers.

Well yeah but the question was either the chiefs win or the Bengals against the eagles.

Since chiefs already have one I'd be fine with the Bengals.

But yeah hope eagles beat either

They gotta beat the niners first though...

I remember Nate Gerry being cannon fodder on here for awhile after that one game.

Good.

Maybe pay attention and you would know these things.

You are to emotional.  If you look at it objectively, as we currently stand.

Josh Allen has playoff wins in the 2020, 2021 and 2022 season.

Jalen Hurts has 1 playoff win over Daniel Jones.

Now assuming what should happen, Hurts will be 2-1 and have a Super Bowl appearance on his resume next Monday.

Allen is 4-4, but has to go through Mahomes and Burrow, who are both top 5 QB's in the NFL.

Now, if things go the other way, we could be discussing next Monday Hurts being 1-2 in the playoffs.

How would you look at the big picture if Brock Purdy goes into Philly and somehow gets a win against the #2 defense, when Hurts, who is the far superior QB, could not beat the #1 defense at home ??

Gerry, and than Singleton. Now it's Edwards/Whites time to shine.

Sidenote -- it's funny how things have changed in the NFL.  When I started watching, running backs were invaluable team stars and critical to the success of the team.  Now, it's just not that way any more.  Makes you wonder if it's worth it to spend big money on any running back.  What's Miles furture contract look like?

Yea I know. When I was growing up it and playing football in the street it was I want to be like Barry Sanders or Thurman Thomas. rarely was it I want to be like Troy Aikman. I think it was Belichik that started the trend of any RB will work as long as the Oline can block
