I don't. If we get to him and he tries to make throw while being harassed I think we snag some INTs.

I think Burrow would be able to get the ball out to his weapons before we would be able to get to him to harass him.  But we will see.  Gannon deserves the benefit of the doubt but the Bengals would worry me the most.  Mahomes can do that too but Mahomes also has the natural ability to extend plays so he won't turn that off completely which gives us a chance to get to him.

Yea I think we would feast on that O-line

Yeah i feel the top teams in the afc pass rush is capable of being able to get by. Actually think it’s why the ravens played them closer than the bills. Ravens offense with Huntley isn’t very good but their defense is likely the best of all the playoff teams in the afc.

Niners, Dallas and eagles i think would’ve all given them issues and tougher for them to win.

You having some issues with the update boogyman ??  You quoted my post, and inside that quote you quoted an RTK post and replied to it.

Lane and the boys, Miles and Kenny G should be getting all the run today.  They took away the Giants will.

Carson Wentz was not even mentioned when we went into Dallas and put the 37-9 beating on them when the fans were singing the Eagles fight song on the concourse after the game.

The offensive line and RB's got the respect they should have for crushing Dallas will in that game.

Of course the O-Line (And D-Line) and the entire team (on both sides of the ball) deserve praise for the way they performed.  Who is saying they don't?

And how is Carson Wentz even remotely related to the conversation?  You can't be serious?

Are you insinuating that Jalen Hurts fans are better than Carson Wentz fans because they support him more than Carson Wentz fans supported Wentz?

I don't get it.  Because I remember about 2-3 years on this board when Carson Wentz could do no wrong.

It is not a Wentz / Hurts thing.

Just pointing out in a similar game, the Oline and RB's got all the credit as they should, and no one mentioned Wentz, as they should.

That is exactly how we should be talking about Saturdays game.

Eagles are getting 80 percent of the money right now as slight favorites. Bengals getting 80 percent of the action as well, but I guess that is due to the uncertainty over Mahomes.

I dunno. Maybe your quote was already there and I didn't notice. I meant to reply to RTK.

Since my attention span right now is lagging (I did some damage to my body this weekend lmao) I'll just assume I F'ed something up and didn't notice.

Whatever dude. Hurts was awful last year. He’s a top 5 QB now. Both things can be true. And are true. Did you watch the playoff game last year. Jalen looked lost and couldn’t hit anyone. That was last year. I’ve been defending Hurts all day. Go dm Mike or something and leave me alone 😂

I see the discussion you are having, and the jump in completion percentage part of it.

An interesting fact, if you need time to adjust to the game, and are expected to make a massive leap after you adjust, why does Purdy in his first 5 career starts have a 67.1 completion percentage, higher than Hurts jump in his 3rd season ??

Every story I found mentioned Wentz in the headline, so not sure what you are talking about.

Well, the real answer is "lots of reasons”. Football is a complex sport.

But also, football stats are almost meaningless.

I can find stats to prove almost any stupid, wrong, point I’m trying to make too.

the game vs the 49ers is his money game. I say that because hes really going to have to show up and play on a different level than he did vs the Giants because the 49ers defense is going to force him to. I feel that all the offseason and regular season debate on Hurts has lead to this moment. The 49ers are going to make it very tough to run on and Jalen is going to have to make big throw after big throw under pressure. I think this is the game where we find out just how talented Jalen really is

I concur with this portion of your statement in particular.  If Hurts plays well and the Eagles beat San Fran to go to the Super Bowl I think he'll be signed to a long term extension in the offseason.

I’d have bet the bengals regardless of mahomes injury. If not for everyone talking about the niners win streak they’d be talking about the bengals winning 10 in a row. They’ve been really good since the week before their  bye week. I felt this way before cincy/Buffalo mnf that got canceled that cincy is playing the best complimentary football in the afc. Their defense like last year has really come on strong down the stretch. Last 6 games giving up 15.6ppg. For all the glitz and glamor of chase, Higgins, boyd, mixon and burrow, the defense has really been as good as the offense

Grading the Eagles' 37-9 win Sunday night over the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium (see breakdown):G

QUARTERBACK
Carson Wentz: 14/27, 168 YDS, 2 TD

The 24-year-old remains unflappable, standing in the pocket and taking some pops, yet still delivering an accurate football. He took off and ran three times for 16 yards, but never put himself in harm's way. No turnovers, again, which is often the most important statistic of all. Give Wentz three two-point conversions, too. It wasn't always pretty, but it got the job done.

Grade: A-

https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/the700level/grading-eagles-37-9-win-over-cowboys-week-11

Carson Wentz completed 14 of 27 for 168 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles pounded Dallas for 215 yards rushing on 33 carries, averaging 6.5 yards a carry. The Eagles had a 71-yard run, a 30-yard run and a 17-yard run. Jay Ajayi picked up 91 yards on 7 carries, LeGarrette Blount had 57 yards on 13 carries and undrafted rookie Corey Clement pounded away for 50 yards on 6 carries.

"[Carson] wanted to perform so well and he is one of those guys that never quits. We kept dialing his number. I think these guys believe now and it's a strength this team has now. The players have the confident mindset when they take the field on game day that they won't be denied."

Selective memory?  Recency bias?  Maybe a little bit of both?

EVERYONE WAS HIGH ON WENTZ THAT SEASON.  JUST STOP WITH YOUR REVISIONIST HISTORY.

I was specifically mentioning callers on the radio.

So no one praised Wentz after he beat the Cowboys on talk radio six years ago, and you remember that so distinctly for what reason?

This seems like a pretty sketchy thing to claim.

Last week's line made me think Vegas thought we would blow the Giants out. This line, with most of the bets on us to cover like I thought, tells me Vegas thinks the 49ers win.

Listen ladies, we're in the NFC Championship game. Let's get a 2nd fn ring!

My current rank is "enthusiast" so quit your fighting and get fired up about Sunday!

@VaBeach_Eagleis that how the rank system works? :-)

Last years game against the 9ers:

I remember this being a frustrating game, especially since they played so well the week before against the falcons. Jalen Hurts is light years ahead of where he was in this game. The Birds defense looks pretty bad, and of course there is the Reagor special of him running out of bounds before making a rare catch.

@Dawkamania06 is going to make another thread this week to pump everyone up who's not already pumped! Except @olsilverhair, he likes a different way of getting pumped.  Right @EaglePhan1986?

Yep.  Moving along to the team goal of winning a Super Bowl.

Gonna need Miles and the boys up front to do what they did last weekend again this week.  They need to impose their will on the 49ers front, and not let the 49ers O line do they same to our defense.

I expect a slugfest like yesterday in San Francisco, gotta be tougher and beat them up.
