Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I saw. It says screen passes. I am talking more specifically about WR screens. Not including screens to RBs. I know we suck at RB screens these days. I think we are pretty good at WR screens since we started using Smith on them.

Well they are definitely better now that they aren't throwing them to Watkins!!

Possibly because our society has become too ignorant of more descriptive words to properly convey their meaning and just use the same words to describe all situations... and use the same words as every part of speech, in rapid succession.

Yeah I had no luck. Once it was finally my turn in the queue the only options were resale tickets.

yup...the real purpose of the screen is to keep the defense stretched horizontally. They can run out of the formation on later downs.

Pizza hut is trash, little Caesars is where it's at, best value for pizza in America

Used to love the Hut but they've gone way down in quality the last few years and it's always disappointing.

Having said that the first Pizza Hut was formed on Wichita St. Campus by a couple college kids, the original building is still on campus, though not working building.

Also, used to attack zone coverage (which we see a lot of, as turning your back on Hurts is a risky proposition).

Someone from the league reminded Sirianni of which pizza chain is a corporate sponsor.

Yup, Watkins took that one back for a long TD in preseason and then never did anything again on a screen.

Paschal has been getting more snaps lately taking away from Watkins.

I had high hopes for Watkins this year thought he could really do something as the 3rd WR but save a few big plays here and there and a few blunders he's been a disappointment this year.

Paschal doesn't threaten the deep 3rd like Watkins but he's a physical receiver and won't get punked by a DB on a 7 yard curl route, and he's a much better blocker.

I think the filters are overly restrictive as well, but downplaying some forms of language as simply being tools by which nobody should take offense to is also grossly naive. Taken to its extreme, should we dismiss those who took offense to the n-word as being overly sensitive and compare that to being offended by a screwdriver? What about those of a certain sexual orientation that take offense to the f-word (the 6 letter variety, not the 4-letter one)? What about any of the other ethnic slurs? Plenty of those words carry a context in which a history of hate and derision can be tough to simply brush off. I think even the F-word isn't really something that we desperately need to throw around every other post, but I do agree that probably 80% of the filtered words don't really need to be censored.

Point taken.  Context matters with words.  Take the movement to ban Huckleberry Finn because of language that was very common to the time depicted. A deviation of that word is used within the Rap era community today but was commonly used within the Black community dating quite far back. Not offensive within the context used by a person of the community apparently. The F word you mention was very commonly used within the gay community when I was young and still is within the community in my age range in a similar context.  (It was also slang for a cigarette in the UK.) So the words themselves aren’t really what is offensive but rather the way they are used that are found to offend.  I recognize that we can’t filter for intent. But the 80% reduction of censored words is probably acceptable to most.  Compromise always is preferable to the extreme.

I’m not sure the walk thru practices in preseason camp are the reason the Eagles are relatively healthy this late in the season. Could just be plain ‘Ol luck.

It’s about accumulation and recovery. Fatigued muscles increase injury risk.

We also rest people throughout the season.

Growing up in the 80's, PIzza Hut used to be one of the most popular Pizza's spots in America.  I agree it was much better back in the day..  Going to the restaurant was a big deal back then for kids.   Little Caesars was also cool growing up for the long square pizzas.   But I honestly don't eat either much anymore.  I'd rather make my own fresh pizza or frozen with fresh toppings, lol.

The F word oddly is used in the Book of Mormon.

There is a story of a prophet named Abinadi and he is burned at the stake, the term is they lit him on fire with F words

If one goes to the glossary at the back.

It's defined as a bundle of sticks.

Yup pizza hut when I was a kid was like a special night out, Mrs PAC man and red cups...

When I was a teenager we used to get little Caesars every Friday night, Buy one get one free in that big long rectangle box, we got a bloody band aid in our box once and never went back to that location.

When I lived in New Zealand back in the 90s they had a pizza hut restaurant buffet, it was right on a lake front and was fancy inside, people would wear like dress shirts to go to pizza hut, it was a big deal😄

We still get Cesar's occasionally it's cheap and fast and the kids love it.

But I agree if I'm really in the mood for pizza I'd rather go to a sit down place and get a good one, or make my own.

I don't think they quite optimized the production of the frozen/cardboard pizza by that point, so when you went to PizzaHut you might actually get 'fresh' pizza.  I remember the pizza being good there back then - but then again my kids like the Chucky Cheese pizza now, so kids in general might have bad taste.

Pretty sure 99.99% of the people using the word on twitter or in the youtube comments section aren't referring to bundles of sticks, but I'm just throwing out wild guesses here.

It seems like they’re upping Jordan Davis’s workload a bit. He saw the third most DT snaps behind Hargrave and Cox and they’re really going to need him against SF. That second/third wave of DTs between him, Williams, Suh, and Joseph is going to be important.
