Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Funny thing about that....

the Eagles lost that game.  I just want the win on Sunday.  Everything else is gravy.

Yeah, they did, but I don't think that hit had anything to do with it. We agree that I don't care how a win happens as long as it does.

Howie, you know Joe Douglas very well. Both Douglas/Saleh are on the hot seat.

Do whatever you can to get the Jets #1 pick next year.

So either Jets or gonna Jets, or a team again is going to try to lure Rodgers to their team.

How funny would it be if the jets ultimately traded for Russell Wilson

Just for fun.  If there was one player for player swap you could make with the 49ers, who would you take?

TJ Edwards for Fred Warner for me.

WRONG.

1. Covey for Deebo.

2. Wallace for Mufanga

3. Quinn for Bosa

4. Kyron Johnson for Warner

I certainly don't think they lost because of the hit.  But that hit, as great as it was in the moment, had exactly zero impact on the game positively for the Eagles.  Bush came back into the game, he was effective and the Eagles lost.   So, I personally don't see that hit as one that I revel in.

In contrast... this hit was a massive turning point.

As was this one... (Sorry, you'll have to click the Linc (sic) to see that one.)

The Falcons were trailing 14-3 at the time of Dawkins' hit. They gained big yardage on the play and scored a TD on the drive. Hardly a turning point -- if anything, a turning point in Atlanta's favor.

Yep. It would be a great weekend for another one of these. They'd have to cart him off.

DAL had safeties covering CMAC quite a bit... Epps could certainly make this happen, if the rookie throws up a hospital ball.

Why not have Saturday spend 1-2 seasons coaching the OL at least?  Irsay is the worst.

Congratulations Daniel Snyder -- you're no longer the worst.

These asshats take highlights from the good games and ignore Gannon falling apart with soft zones in his 4 or 5 bad games. Everyone looks good when you ignore the bad stuff.

Agree on what you said, but the point was if they hit CM that hard he doesn't get up

Definitely, you wouldn't need to hide him in coverage and the speed to the sideline has so many applications.

I'm hoping they A-gap blitz TJ a bit just to get him out of coverage, eat a blocker and free up Hargrave/Fletch on the pass rush.

TJ will be useful against the run, particularly in our 4DL sets (maybe he'll disappear in zone like Lofa Tatupu).

Well, if Williams is a good as his hype, it seems only natural that the Colts would get him. There's no other team with the luck they have when it comes to landing the first pick in drafts in years that a great quarterback prospect just happens to arrive. They got both Manning (the good one) and Luck with picks that fell in their laps.

Donovan was at the 76ers game last night with A.I. too.  The 76ers are the #2 Seed in the East right now.

Whose that?

Gotta say, I'm kind of excited to see what happens with Colorado.  Their last 2 classes have been all 3 star recruits putting them in the middle of the pack when it comes to recruiting class grades.  They currently have the 21st ranked class with arguably the best CB and top 10 player in the 2023 class signed in Cormani McClain to go along with the top CB recruit last year in Travis Hunter who trasnferred in.  They have a top 5 transfer class to boot.  Seeing this level of talent in town for a recruiting weekend is crazy.

Love him or hate him, Deion has the IT factor that attracts top talent. Before the 2022 season, I predicted he'd be a Power 5 HC in 2023.  Colorado is just a stepping stone for him to the next level and in a sense I feel bad for them only renting Deion until that chance calls.  But for now, hoping to see them be releveant again.

But it wasn't really cherry picking only the good games, they used the most recent game which also had by far the most at stake for him and the team. Pretty standard stuff for weekly review shows.

Yup. And I’d add the landscape (granted a lot of things will change after FA and draft) right now if they don’t take a QB this draft is that they go with ehlinger and possible Saturday being the HC. The colts and cardinals (likely no murray for a good portion of the season since his injury happened late, trading Hopkins and jj watt retiring) imo might be the two worse teams
