They talked about it in the after show segment, but she grew up in a world without TV/video games/etc, and could only read about them in books or magazines. Her excitement would be like you reading about some historical site of significance and then finally being able to visit it in person. I don't think it's necessary to keep showing the infected to get that point across. They are surviving the way the world is now not just infected. Like this last group is eating humans to survive an infected world. Spoiler Yea, I don't want it to be like Walking Dead or anything, or having to fight off infected every episode. I just think they could have a little more to show them as a threat. Just a difference of opinion, not saying I wouldn't mind seeing some more. I'm fine with the way it is so far.
