Yeah, the Eagles caught a huge break with the Niners QB's going down.  But they've also had their share of bad breaks on the QB front.  1991 when Cunningham and McMahon went down and Eagles had to start Brad Goebels, and the 2003 NFCCG when McRib went down.  Karma has a way of balancing things out and this win was earned.

Injuries are part of football and the 49ers basically lost both quarterbacks and that was because the Eagles defenders got home.

When we needed a spark on the offense, tonight it was Gainwell that really showed some juice.

So happy we made it to the SB!

Now let‘s go get it. :Eagle_smiley:

:LII:

Gainwell has been money these past 2 games.

Good news is neither the Bengals or Chiefs have a d the caliber of the 49ers.

Exactly. The Eagles dropped 31 on number one when they didn’t even play at their best!

Did anyone else get a bit of a Body Bag Bowl vibe from this game?

Except that the Eagles had the same schedule basically as Washington, New York, and Dallas. Played more playoff teams and beat more playoff teams then anyone else.

I wonder how many people got whiplash from all the jumping around Kyle Shanahan did today while their lips were on his butt.

Dude had his own cult leading up to this game.

Exactly what I was thinking. Drop 31 on the #1 d how many are you dropping on lesser d?

So it wasnt the play when Reddick steam rolleres him and his head slammed off the turf?

Nope. It was Suh #74.

Kyle making excuses and not giving the Eagles any credit. F him.

It was Suh. But it was a clean hit. Same with the Reddick hit on Purdy.

There's this thing called an OL...

He's most famous for blowing SBs

It’s not like 49ers qbs slipped on a banana peel and got hurt. No. They got KNOCKED OUT because their o-line couldn’t handle our d-line and got touched.

see ya, 9ers!

This game > body bag game.

If the 49ers fans want to blame someone blame Shanahan. He wouldn’t even try to throw it. And if you knew Purdy couldn’t throw it then they should have went CMC. You were only down 21 with 2 quarters to go. CMC in wildcat would have been better than a qb thst the d knows isn’t throwing.

Bengals punting and KC getting the ball.

The 49ers had 1 really good DE and one really good OT. The Eagles might have the best O-line D-line combo in the past 10 years.

People were pretending they were equivalent.

Doesn’t matter. He’s the salty one going home. The Eagles are the ones going to the Super Bowl.

49ers radio still blaming refs and bad calls lol.

Yeah and it sure doesn’t look like their Oline could hold up against our DLine.

whats going on with Myles Sanders?

Talking head moron #5. Why do you like the 49ers this week?

Errr, I'm hoping Lane Johnson gets re-injured? I got nothing else...   (there were probably 5 people with this cold take)

To be fair their overall D is still damn good. The game was touch and go for a while. I think a turning point was when Siri went for it on 4th and inches on our 30 yard line.

WTF? 😆

49ers had the easiest schedule in the NFL, and beat the Seahawks. Media was hyping them hard.

Andy Reid still stinks at challenges and wasted timeouts I see.
