After having his scheme get gutted Gannon didn't stick around for questions after the game, right?

No

You I specifically remember going back and forth with about Jalen. You were convinced that he could never be an accurate winning QB. There was a lot of conviction. The whole time I was wondering if I was the one that was crazy because he screamed exactly that — that he could be an accurate winning QB.

I do wonder why folks had such a tough time buying in.

I had a hard time buying in because of how 2021 played out and ended. The jump he made from 2021 to 2022 was unworldly, and I'm perfectly happy putting BBQ sauce on this platter of crow.

From what I heard this morning on the radio, he hasn’t all year.

The guy I've always compared hurts to is Steve young

Young wasn't a great passer in college or early in his career, he had a bigger arm than hurts but he was more an athlete than he was a QB.

When retiring he had the highest career QB rating, and was considered one of the most accurate qbs of his generation.

Not sure hurts will ever reach those heights but he's shown the ability to improve and get better and I think going forward he'll just continue to do so.

Young was an unbelievably good passer in college. His final season he completed 71% of his passes, a Division 1 record in an era nobody was throwing like that. It stood for nearly 20 years before Culpepper broke it

It’s the primary reason Bill Walsh traded a first for him even after his TB struggles. It was clearly the team, not him

No answers for anything I guess.

Hasn't what? He's talked to media every week on Wednesdays all season.

This. There were plenty of reasons to doubt Jalen after 2021. The improvement in his game year over year is basically unprecedented. That's why I am pumped to see how much further he can take it this offseason. NS is right when he says Jalen will find his ceiling, whatever it is.

1. Mahomes

[huge gap]

2. Burrow

3. Hurts

4. Herbert

5. Lamar

6. Allen

7. Lawrence

Honorary members -- Rodgers and Stafford

Next tier is the Goff, Prescott, Cousins, Tua group

I've never gotten the love affair with Allen. He throws crippling picks. He's boom or bust to me.

This is my rankings except probably flipping Allen and Lawrence (for now). I'd agree and I don't think Allen can be considered Top 3 anymore until he can prove not to be so inconsistent/turnover prone.

I like this list a lot. Only major corrections I’d make are Aaron Rodgers is still too low, he had a strong season with what he had to work with, and Lawrence was dinking and dunking a lot to succeed in 2022. I didn’t see a clear path to him blowing up in 2023, I think he’ll be a lot like Wentz in 2019 for Pederson.

Dont mind Herbert over Allen, Maybe move Rodgers up to 5th, Lawrence to 7th, otherwise looks pretty good.

Hurts has earned the #3 spot on the field and at this point Ill fight someone who says otherwise.  I was one of the biggest Hurts haters but he earned it.  Hes better than Lawrence, Herbert, and Allen (thats right I said it).   Hurts has accomplished more than those guys on the field and Id even argue the trajectory of his career is still steeper than theirs

Immediately Post game. Should have clarified.

What if Steichen and Gannon get a DNA test and it finds out they're 15% Asian. Does that count as a minority candidate?

Stafford? He seems to have hit his decline already

Tua actually seems pretty damn good but his health is a huge freaking concern. People are saying he needs to fall down better. He needs to retire or he may end up drinking through a straw

Ah ok, yea. That sounds accurate.

Even Schwartz didn't talk to the media after a SB win, I don't understand why they are making it a big deal. He should have had to answer at some point, but since he's a HC now its moot.

That's where I am at. Putting Allen, Herbert and Lawrence above him is comical. Allen is a turnover machine and inconsistent, Lawrence played well for about 8 games, and Herbert hasn't won squat.

They could do us a solid and identify as Muslim... Saleh is a white guy otherwise,

If Stafford comes back healthy, he's top 10. But that's basically assuming he is 2021 Stafford.

Tua was a last minute addition by me. I have no clue what happens with him. I think Cousins/Dak is his ceiling.

I’m sure a Philly reporter will travel to his opening press conference in Arizona and grill him as much as they can. (At least I hope so)

I’m more than fine with our guy Hurts, I too put him at 3 behind Mahomes and Burrow.

Is DNA test necessary? Just ask them how they identify, that should suffice.

So much for Chiefs being gracious
