Bush is a nutcase but man I want some crazy on defense.

He’s not very good either. Bad combo.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

That and he's not all that good, IMO. Mid level player.

Maybe the eagles game has clouded your judgement. And the fact that the Giants have tried him at CB. Last year was his first year starting as a safety. Hes only 24. As young as some COVID era rookies. In his first year as safety, 16 games- 124 tackles, 6TFLs, 5 PDs, 2 INTs and a FF.

Pretty damn productive for a 1st year safety.

Penny must be really confident of his fit in Philly to take a contract like that on day 2 of FA. Or the leg ain’t right.

With an injury history like his, coming off surgery Im sure there wasnt much out there for him. If youre an RB who has to prove yourself, you definitely want to get behind this OL.

When they talk about simulated pressure with these LBs I wouldnt want to be the QB looking at Reddick, and trying to figure out of Dean or Bush are coming too.

And the OL, if theyre going to be dealing with more stunts on our DL and you have guys with that kind of quickness coming through. 4.43 speed on Bush. Dean may not have a fast 40 but we know he is quick...

Could cause a lot of problems.

Would be nice for the football Gods to give us a good Steelers LB after the LJ Fort signing.

Except for the whole "can our qb throw the ball” thing

I guess you knocked your head pretty hard and have suffered amnesia because that has already been answered.  He's proven himself to be one of the best QBs in the league.

Question I haven't seen discussed yet, Nakobe Dean stepping into OLB or Middle? Curious who's going to get the green dot. Maybe Howie still plans to add here..

Bradberry is really broken up over Gannon and Wilson leaving

I think I know what it could be as the #1 seed in the Kyrie Irving Region

I’m genuinely curious if he can pass a physical. He wasn’t even running yet in late December.

Maybe he was signed for the playoff push

Tackles arent really a selling point for a team with injuries in the secondary and poor LB play.

To each their own. I guess we'll see if we sign him.

Wagner would be ideal, he's still got some gas in the tank and brings instant credibility to the LB group, assuming he signs relatively inexpensive.

How was he in LA last year? I'm interested but if he lost too many steps I'm out.

The Giants are paying Barkley almost 3 times as much as the Eagles are paying their entire RB group combined.

Barkley is 10x as good as our entire rb group combined

He doesn’t have much choice. He isn’t getting big money in free agency with his injury history. He’s 27 years old.

This is his absolute last opportunity to earn a reasonably large payday.

It basically all comes down to his health. If he can stay healthy behind this OL, the guy could average 6.5 per carry and run for 1,000 yards on limited carries.

It’s really his best and only chance to cash in.

If I remember PFF had him rated in their top 5 for ILB, so take that for what it's worth 🤷‍♂️

I think even with a lost step or two he'd still be faster to the ball than Edwards.

Won't be that much more productive though considering the impact Hurts has on the running game and the Eagles OL.

These are 2 WTF posts in a row… Our QB had the best passer rating in the pocket last year, and had the best rating on deep passes. Like what else do you need to see?

And there are plenty of leaked contract numbers for FA out there…

Three types of lies and all

agents leak deals so they look good. Why would an agent leak that lowball?

Wrong

This will be interesting. @Swoop.

@eagle45 I remember you asking if anyone had stats to show how good was Gardner-Johnson really in coverage?

Im posting a comparison of Julian Love vs Gardner-Johnson.

Love:

Gardner-Johnson

In 4 less games, Gardner Johnson has still given up more air yards, a ton more.

Love was better in opposing QB completion %. Love gave up less yards per completion.

Also a huge difference in tackling. Dont let the DeVanta Smith play could your judgement. Gardner-Johnson had 11 missed tackles, to Love's 4. Gardner-Johnson with a missed tackle rate of 14.1%, while loves was only 3.9%. And when you look in that column for Love, his has improved every year of his career.

Love is a better safety.

A couple DT's I wouldn't mind looking into, Larry Ogunjobi or Poona Ford
