If I remember PFF had him rated in their top 5 for ILB, so take that for what it's worth 🤷‍♂️

I think even with a lost step or two he'd still be faster to the ball than Edwards.

Possibly. I wouldn't hate it at all. I think I like Lavonte David more, Dean can be the middle guy in this case.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Three types of lies and all

agents leak deals so they look good. Why would an agent leak that lowball?

Could have come from the team…

Everyone knows Penny’s deal. He’s an ultra talented RB made of glass.

No one is giving him a long term deal with gtd money. Most teams probably wouldn’t even look at him as an option just based on his injury history.

And this RB class is one of the deepest in years with every variety of player you might want.

Penny isn’t going to get a better opportunity at a final contract than playing behind this OL in a RB rotation.

@eagle45 I remember you asking if anyone had stats to show how good was Gardner-Johnson really in coverage?

Im posting a comparison of Julian Love vs Gardner-Johnson.

Love:

Gardner-Johnson

In 4 less games, Gardner Johnson has still given up more air yards, a ton more.

Love was better in opposing QB completion %. Love gave up less yards per completion.

Also a huge difference in tackling. Dont let the DeVanta Smith play could your judgement. Gardner-Johnson had 11 missed tackles, to Love's 4. Gardner-Johnson with a missed tackle rate of 14.1%, while loves was only 3.9%. And when you look in that column for Love, his has improved every year of his career.

Love is a better safety.

Wow. Nice find HE

I like levonte David as well, not sure he'll be within eagles price range but if he was I think he still has a lot of gas left in the tank as well.

Wrong

The fact I’m on the same side as RTK makes me nauseous, but your hardline stance seems kind of silly after last season.

A couple DT's I wouldn't mind looking into, Larry Ogunjobi or Poona Ford

Ogunjobi re-signed.

I can get on board with this for plan B

Can you pull that for Juan Thornhill also?

Some of you will always find something wrong. We've been putting up with this crap just way too long. So gifted and finding what you don't like the most...

He did, they changed defenses to a 3-4 and he didn't do well there. He needs to be used properly. Pass rushing 1 tech. Too bad Larry re-signed, i didn't realize.

In a round we typically struggle drafting in, what a monster smash Hurts was in the 2nd.

as I said, not great. He and Adderley are a little overrated due to how people liked them in the draft. They havent been great.

Solid points but you have to account for the position change too

To be fair didn't love switch positions too...

I did. Love converted to a safety just this year.

Nothing makes you appreciate a well run franchise like the eagles more than going to a complete dumpster fire.

Didn’t know that. What’d he play before?

2019 eagles draft class vs. 2014 eagles draft class… slight edge to 2014 for beau Allen and matthews over sanders and dillard

The 2nd round is where we generally hit on players. We've only really whiffed twice in the last 10 years (Sidney Jones, Rowe).

Should cheer against the flyers for the betterment of the organization long term.

Pretty big difference between giving someone $600K gtd and $10M.

Right, I probably blocked that out of my memory. We picked Miles that year too so that's what sticks in my head.
