Yeah, but he didn't do it quickly nor did he hit the bags!  At least racing he hit something quickly!  He literally might have dropped out of the first round.

If you think that’s crazy, think about how much GMs value attitude. It’s why they conduct interviews. If he’s showing up loafing on workouts he’s going to drop like a stone. I honestly think he could be there at 30.

If Carter is not a top 10 pick, we're looking at OL/CB as one of our top options.

I am not sure he would be a good enough prospect as just a potential OT.  

Jalen Carter has bust written all over him.  It's been a while since I've seen someone's draft stock plummet so far so fast.  I thought after the arrest he'd fall to at least 10-20.  Showing up overweight and looking very out of shape during position drills?  He may have just fallen out of the first round.

I believe that some teams want Carter to fall out of where he's currently projected.

I'm just spitballing here, but he gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks.  How?  Most certainly not by working out intensely.  That tells you everything you need to know about how he handles a tough situation and pressure.  He reminds me of the DL version of Ryan Leaf.  HARD PASS.

 

When it comes to Carter, I'd think the Eagles would have very good insight from Dean and Davis......

I want to trade back with the Jets at 13 but after the Rodgers trade they may not even have that pick. If Gonzalez is there I think I just pull the trigger. If not, get a trade back between 12-17.

He has a great anchor and grip strength. He really plows defenders off of the line on the run, and neutralizes bull rushes in pass pro. Stout will have a blast with him. And I'm perfectly fine with a T/G prospect who can backup multiple positions for the time being who isn't always hurt like Driscoll. I mean, comparing any of these guys to Lane who was and is, an absolute freak athlete at his size is kind of unfair.

Passing on him would be a mistake. People worry too damn much and forget Sapp dropped because of cocaine concerns. Draft the kid and have a beast the next 10 years.

How has he performed on the field? Why was he going to be the 1st pick? People move up this time of year who shouldn't and people drop that shouldn't. That's how we ended up with Mikey Johnson Out instead of Sapp.
