And it's that simple. Democrats lost the blue-collar vote and completely abandoned rural America. They are never going to carry these demographics, but even 10-15 years ago Democrats had enough pockets of support to carry swing states like PA-MI-WI. How do they start winning them back?

Did you not read what I posted? I said the whole Democrat identity platform isn't working and needs to be tossed out with the bathwater. Run on issues the majority of Americans care about. The simple fact is you can't be the party of black and gay people in a white, Christian country and expect to have sustained success. Obama, while black, was an issues candidate. Or at least spoke like one.
