So in all seriousness, are the Republicans really going to try to dismantle Social Security? This is my biggest fear. If I get all these programs taken away from me, I am seriously screwed. I know people will laugh at this, but this is really worrying me.

Did you not read what I posted? I said the whole Democrat identity platform isn't working and needs to be tossed out with the bathwater. Run on issues the majority of Americans care about. The simple fact is you can't be the party of black and gay people in a white, Christian country and expect to have sustained success. Obama, while black, was an issues candidate. Or at least spoke like one.
