The part that isn't discussed enough is that, if the prices of all imports are raised due to tariffs, then domestic suppliers will also raise prices given the lack of price competition. Companies will look to maximize profits, and they will happily raise prices on domestically produced goods. Markets are dynamic.

A lot of people need to be fired. Gov is way too big. Also, the swamp/uniparty is a real thing and it's hard to tell who is loyal to it until they get hired. So out the door they go.
