Running backs are so very replaceable.  Easily replaced means that you won't get paid well.  Sorry, Miles.

Clearly capitalism as anticipated. RB supply coupled with demand equals lesser pay. That said, I would suggest that Sanders’ new contract is more than adequate for expected performance.  His pass pro is mediocre, his running on average is average and his dependability has been an issue.  So $6.5 million a year sounds like pretty good compensation for a guy that has platooned his whole career. The bottom line is most LBs and RBs platoon so really the only position they could gripe is overpaid are DTs and Edges who frankly, the good ones play a lot of snaps. Whereas the platoon TE, most slot CBs and slot WRs are paid on par or less than platoon RBs.

Fun fact

surprised the cowboys are so low.  Still the most in the NFC East though.

He's not getting a starting position when he hasn't played in years and is 35 years old. That's just not happening

Surprised he hasn't been offered a 3rd string position unless he's not accepting those. I'd doubt he'd get offered a 2nd string position

I suspect he has been considered as a back up but it was beneath his expectation of what he thought he should be compensated and his history of pursuing a grievance creates a bit more hesitation on the part of teams.  He is polarizing and that also creates a hesitation.  Both could have been overlooked if he was a great talent but he wasn’t.

Great bend.

Dallas Goedert is going to have a monster year if he stays healthy.  Looking at his numbers compared to other top TEs the thing that stood out to me is how much Goedert has done relative to his number of targets.  He has to be among the most efficient receiving targets in the league.  The thing that has kept his targets down above most else is him missing games and of course playing backup to Ertz for two years.

Sanders has pretty good raw numbers.  It will be interesting to see how he fares with a different OL and how our OL fares with a different RB.  I’ve got my money on our OL.

It’s been 15 years or 30 starts since a non-day 1 or 2 QB made the SB other than Tom Brady. All other guys were 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round picks.

Compile that with the best day 3 QB of the last 15 years probably being Prescott, and it amplifies the necessity of getting the right QB early in the draft rather than gambling on scraps later on.

Mitchell & Ness with some new jersey additions. Allen, Joyner, Simmons...

Word of caution. Mitchell & Ness was sold and their quality is nothing like what it used to be. I believe they are owned by Fanatics now. Take if for what it's worth. Still good looking retro jerseys but not the same quality of the OG M&N.

Especially if the refs suck again.

The refs are judged by one call … a call that Bradberry didn’t dispute, and even said after the game that he deserved the flag.  The timing and the fact that it was the first (and only) PI flag of the game was highly questionable, but that is only one call.

"Especially if the grounds crew overwaters the field” is where the real problem with/in the SuperBowl exists.  That problem affected every single play, not just one single play.  Back in the days when one MLB team had really fast players, their grounds crew used to overwater the infield so the ground balls would be slowed by the wet grass.  Their fast players were able to beat out more infield hits as a result. So overwatering grass is not something new in sports.

Tell that to the 49ers.

In regards to M&N quality, top picture is my Randall Cunningham M&N jersey I bought about 10 years ago or so before they company was sold. You can see the numbers were a VERY thick screen print, just like the jerseys used to be.

This is the close up of the Eric Allen and Seth Joyner jerseys now being made by M&N. Both Allen and Joyner were gone before the Eagles last year in KG when they actually had sewn on numbers. @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles!, I'm sure you have better examples of authentics.

What study shows this? I mean point to some actual research by actual scientists. The overwhelming data shows the benefit to the vaccine in preventing serious harm from the disease. So much have what you have posted is just verifiably not true with a simple google search.  It's like you are arguing the sky is yellow without looking outside your window.

The vaccine does more harm than good.

Nobody here is posting links to studies.

It's a football board.   There's very little football to talk about for about a month.

People I guess could type their opinions on Supreme Court decisions.  Also not football.

I do. I’m not at home to take pics of it. Can do later on today. Last year the eagles wore Kelly green was the only year they had Kelly green authentics in that style that were sewn on. Looked cool and then they went to midnight green.  Was heavy screen print before then.  Held up really good over the years. Mitchell and ness on the color scale is similar but older jerseys the Kelly green doesn’t always hit as dark as MN. Certain years was lighter than others. When it was sand knit was usually similar to MN

I can’t get excited about plays from games the Eagles lost.

It's a shame, because if not for the Eagles organization conspiracy against Carson Strong then he could have been the next one.

Lol

We have less than a month to training camp.  It's the OT season for the blog.  We should really be talking about grilling recipes.

I just got done shingling the roof of my shed.  5.5 hours worth of torture... but having it done is a good feeling.

A few exterior steps left ( like actually installing a door and the windows) and then we trim it out and it's 'complete'.   Then the fun of designing the storage space to make it actually convenient and functional begins.

Just in time for training camp. Worst part is all the beats will tweet the same play if it’s an int or TD so that’s like 10 read posts right there.
