Do people actually read 600 posts a day?  If they're using Twitter that much, then they should be verified.

And if anyone reads 6000 posts a day - they really need another hobby...lol.

Depends what they define as "read”. Part of the concept of Twitter was scrolling and stopping what catches your eye. Also after every 5 or so tweets is a sponsored ad tweet, so if I don’t read it but scroll past does that count? Also reading comments on a tweet, does that count? It’s technically a tweet, and I would often do that on something that interested me or to see what other fan bases like Chicago thought of Nick Morrow for example. There would be probably 8 out of 10 troll/pointless Tweets but 2 of genuine thoughts.

Just seems so counterproductive for what they are. The point of Twitter is to follow others and engage in social media. This limits all of that and just will make people unfollow or not go on at all anymore. It’s been noticeably dead since and it’s not just a holiday weekend causing it. It would make more sense to limit tweets, re-tweets or other pointless features per day.

I'm pretty sure you need to actually click on the tweet for it to count.

You point out a missed call on Bradberry.  That's the way it was being called both ways the whole game.  It's like changing the strike zone in baseball in the bottom of the 9th.  The Smith catch overturn I thought was bogus.  Stay with the call on the field.  I didn't see anything to overturn.  There was also a obvious missed face mask on hurts after the fumble.  There was several missed holding calls on the chiefs offensive line as well. This what I believe I saw. I'm not gonna go back and forth on a difference of opinion.  We will have to agree to disagree.

I don’t disagree with your take on the Bradberry call at all.  Call the game consistently is what both you and I agree on.  But again, it was only one call.  Our fate was hanging on by a thread at the time, with a significantly greater chance of losing than winning.  The call essentially sealed that fate, moving it from significant to overwhelming.  The timing made the pain more acute.  Move that call to the 1st Quarter and the complaints largely disappear.  We want the refs to be perfect, but they are human … prone to making human judgments.

The point of the article on the catches is that the tw calls offset one another.  Do you disagree with that?

There were "several missed holding calls” on the Eagles as well.  That is how things roll with the big uglies.  You and I saw the ones that our green biases caused us to see, and didn’t "see” others for the same reason.

With that slippery field it was hard to separate the lost footing plays from the questionable blocking plays.

I still can’t believe Detroit had 5 first and second round picks and took 0 lineman. The recipe for winning in the NFL is right there and they don’t care

That's why they are Detroit.

What does ‘rate limit exceeded’ mean on Twitter?

For now, it means users will only be able to scroll so far before they hit their daily limit.

I can assure you that is not the case. Hopefully it is indeed temporary.

It really doesn’t take much to get to 600 tweets. It sounds like a lot more than it is. Once you factor in quote tweets, especially during high traffic times like NBA/NFL free agency, you can hit that number in an hour easy.

Yep. Click on a single Woj bomb tweet and you can scroll to 600 tweets in about 5 minutes.

You don’t. If it appears on your screen, it counts as a read tweet.

Looks like it’s been fixed. Obviously Musk and Co effed something up and are covering for it.

It was a good excuse for me to parse down my follow list anyway. I had way too many folks in there that I skipped over anyway.

If they had better search tools, there would be less scrolling.

Having just returned from a 12 state road trip, I sure saw a lot of the infrastructure bill in use but also saw a number of roads that need serious attention.  I barely touched interstate highways and saw an interesting mix of America and Americans.

I do not understand people not respecting the trails. The need to go and get that picture or selfie while doing major damage to delicate ecosystems baffles me.

I was heartened to see all the backpackers, kayakers and rafters.  Lots of camping.  Interesting rangers. Our national parks, national forests, national monuments and state parks are demonstrating the value of such. As being above tree line in my sixties isn’t as easy as in my youth despite not being a smoker, I still love the grandeur of the Rockies.  (Wife got the headaches, I just breathed really hard and above 12k was more lightheaded than I remember.)  The dark skies of the high desert are as miraculous as I remember. Living on the east coast, in most places we just don’t see that

Home today and itching to hit the road again.  It’s a beautiful country populated with lots of interesting souls that we live in.  I hope everyone gets a chance to get out there this summer.

@olsilverhairloves to go camping. @hputenis just bought a new 8 person tent with a screened porch so he can gaze up at the stars as he penetrates olsilverbag while gripping his fat love handles and clapping his white trash cheeks. Don't be alarmed if you see so weird guy with pube hair on his chin, that's just @EaglePhan1986. He usually goes around trying to find someone to lick peanut butter off his anus

Yes sir!  The best part of the USA in my opinion has been and will always be (if we protect them) our public lands.  No amount of money is worth the peace, a sense of wonder and connection to nature that they bring.

I’m literally giggling like an idiot at this in an Uber

At a week away or less than a week away if the July 8th or 9th or whatever theory of jersey reveal are correct.  I think they.  I think we are about to be hit with a jersey and helmet reveal social media video that is going to set the NFL world on fire.

I'd be fine with that look.  Definitely want the silver included and an updated helmet wing but the rest tightly based on the old Buddy team unis.

Word is that their server contract with Google is up 6/30 and they are behind in moving to an alternate.

I've been involved with similar type projects over the last 5 years at work. None of them went live on time but thankfully my org just paid up for an extension so we avoided those issues - IT people and their optimistic timelines,..  I almost texted a colleague with our usual joke when IT come up with similar "stretch goals" or  timelines

Have you done an impact assessment?  The answer is usually No, and that is where we get you early doors now.

It wouldn't even bother me if they were limited to just the few days around July 4th. But it's been every night since 2020 at random hours, launched by people that can't afford to pay their own bills.

I’m developing a theory that a dominant pass rushing 3-tech is now the second most important position in the NFL. It’s much rarer than an all-pro caliber edge, team success is heavily impact by their performances, and they influence the performance of their edges much more than vice versa.

Would you say Leonard Williams and Dexter Lawrence are the best DT combo in the NFL?
