Maybe I'm to stupid to understand the rules but why wouldn't it accept Kevin kolb for the bills cardinal block?

He never played a regular season snap for the Bills.

It’s been like this all year. One week good and next can’t hit worth crap. castellanos recently has been in a massive slump which makes it even worse if guys around him aren’t hitting. They need another hitter and shake up the lineup. I made a post in the Phillies thread since May 14 they’ve gone every other week (besides the first two weeks in June) consistent hitting then completely looking like Hellen Keller at the plate.

Embarrassing in the field AND with RISP.

Realmuto finally decided to hit with the runners on. the first of the night for the Phillies in general. stott really should be batting lead off. He’s on base all the time. He has enough pop to give you a lead off homer occasionally. If we’re being even more realistic, Scott should be one and Alec Bohm should be 2 with how good they’re hitting and how frequently they’re on base.

Yeah... bases loaded in 3 innings... 1 run to show for it.   0 runners in scoring position last inning... 3 runs.

I was so hyped for Kyle Drabek and was disappointed he was traded for Doc.

I’m an idiot.

Kyle Drabek, there's an untouchable name from the past. Giving me flashbacks of all the can't miss blue liners the Flyers wouldn't dare trade.

Does ESP know what amazing means?

@EaglePhan1986 drives a Ford Pinto and contracted syphilis from a guy that advertises himself as "the Urinator” on Craigslist. He turned out to be @Godfather.

I saw him do this in a US v Argentina Copa America (i think) match in Houston in either 2016 or 2017, the second the ref drew the free kick line my entire section let out a collective "ah F", and then he nailed it. It was awesome

With scumbag Snyder gone, WAS will eventually figure it out and get back to being a good franchise again. That sucks. Coupled with the fact that the Giants have their HC in Daboll, the East is going to get tougher over the next decade.

And that's not a one off.  I've read dozens of stories about the Mr. Snyder BS.

JAG with $6+Billion!!

There is a debate what the NFL needs to do with the Snyder fine money.  I think the NFLPA would argue that the players were also defrauded and that a percentage of such revenue shortfall should go into the Salary Pool, with arguably a penalty stipend.

Maybe they could use some of that money to creat an alternate but equally valid Lombardi Trophy that they could award to the 49ers because, well, they deserved it last year.

I think it's important to look at this team in 2 phases.

First one being 2023 and 2024. That's the initial window for this team.  AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Jalen Hurts are all locked up with relatively low cap hits. The OL is still relatively in their prime with Kelce on his way out. The DL is ready to explode and the big dogs are on rookie deals. Slay and Bradberry are locked in on what I'd assume are their last contracts with the Eagles. If there was ever a time to make a trade for a high impact veteran, this is the time.

Second being 2025 and beyond. Jalen Hurts will still just be 27 years old and the Eagles are going to have A LOT of decisions to make with the young core they've added and how to keep them together.

Where I'm going with this is, out of DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown, if they can only afford to keep one of them, who should it be?

-AJ Brown's contract explodes in 2025 when his cap goes to $26.5 million. He'll be 28.

-DeVonta Smith's initial 4-year deal ends after 2024 and the 5th year option in 2025 will be anywhere between $13-$18 million per NFL rules (provided he isn't extended beforehand). He's a year younger than AJ Brown and will be 27 in 2025.

Does it make any sense for the Eagles to go all in to try to get Marvin Harrison Jr. in next years draft? His own teammate, Emeka Embuka, isn't on the same level but is elite in his own right.  My guess is that the Eagles will be picking very late in the 1st round and it would take a kings ransom to move up to grab Harrison. Embuka would be a fantastic consolation prize. I think WR should be a priority in the draft however in order to keep the stable full for Hurts as he continues in to his prime.

If I could only keep one, I’d lean toward keeping DeVonta. But there is a lot of time between now and when that decision needs to be made, so I would simply sit back and enjoy the show for now.

I lead towards DeVonta too. Agree that we need to enjoy the show for now but disagree that there's a lot of time between now and the decisions that need to be made. That time is going to be here before we know it. If Hurts continues to be the real deal, the #1 priority needs to be making sure he has constant weapons ready to go. IMO, that means a legitimate WR3 that is ready to step in to a starting role whether it's because of injury or WR1/2 move on. I'm still going to be bullish on finding TE2 that will be ready to go.

I just want the team to keep plowing along firing on all cylinders rather than taking steps back because they didn't make appropriate moves while looking ahead to the future.

It's clearly Devonta. Younger + less of an injury history + his game will age better.

There’s a possibility that the cardinals get the no. 1 and no. 2 pick and go Caleb Williams and Harrison. I tend to think the cardinals finish with the worst record in the league if Murray is out til midseason or longer. The Texans i think should be better but likely they are a bottom 10 team. If stroud winds up being bad or gets hurt i could see them finishing top 3 in the draft
