Oh you’re exceptional alright. You were definitely exceptional in @hputenis’ latest horror flick. Impressed you didn’t need lube

The Bears is what happens when you have a GM who will be fired if he doesn't win this year

Do the Bears think they can’t sign top free agents… only trap them through trades? Weird.

This one though...

Sweat is a FA after this year unless they tag him. They have a ton of cap space, so I have to think they bring him back. But, it's still an insane move.

And sadly a massive steal for the Commies. And it also screwed up the market for pass rushers.

No it's when you have a GM who thinks he's smarter than he actually is

Right - they could’ve just signed him in March. I feel like the only benefit is leverage for an extension due to injury risk now/franchise tag later.

If Poles traded a 2nd without working out an extension in advance, he should be fired on the spot.

I’m sure he did - but save the 2nd and pay the man in March (unless you think the Bears are so unattractive that they can’t compete on the free market).

Actually happy about this - I'd rather everyone see the Birds as the underdog going into this game, I hope the team sees it this way.

Well, whatever Greenburg thinks is always flat wrong, so that's good news.

75% no trade. 10% DL, 10% CB, 5 % OL. 0% RB 0% ILB.

Could go CB/DL/OL in hopes of a starter for the future, not a stop gap player for 1 season. Slay Bradbury have options coming up. Cox/Fletch are aged. Kelce/Johnson aging. Perfect time to find a diamond in the rough, who has 2 years left on their deal, and can re-sign them to their first major extension before they blow up. RB will never be an important position for us. Same with LB. We’ve proven we hardly value those positions in terms or resources and money given.

I have news for you but we actually traded for a RB at the deadline when we won the Super Bowl.

Dak gets to go against the Eagles pass defense so it makes sense.

What was the explanation? I really don't understand. Is it because Hurts may be dealing with an injury or soreness?

It's ESPN - that's the explanation

It's because they are ESPN and he plays for the Cowboys. Remember their Football Power Index had Dallas as the Super Bowl favorite all year last year.

ESPN is a business, and hyping up the Cowboys is good business. Their fans like being lied to, and their enemies like hate watching. It's like Howard Stern back in the day.

That goes for almost all sports media. No one knows anything and there’s no way they can predict or be right about anything. That’s why there’s so many channels with talking heads arguing about nothing.

Good point.

Guessing Jaylon Johnson gets traded and it's all "well ackshually we basically traded Johnson for Sweat." No, you suck as a GM

Falcons have been sniffing around edges.

Washington trading BOTH Young and Sweat is dumb. Pick one of them (now it's Young) and pay him. Getting a 2nd for Sweat made sense, but don't do it twice. You need players.

Was thinking about it and winning this game would be such a huge step towards winning the division and getting the one seed, especially if we can beat SF. Dallas likely isn't winning out, at worst we split with them, have a two game lead, etc.

So naturally, as it is with Philly sports teams, they'll blow it.
