It's the Bears... they haven't done anything smart in about 3 decades.  What a crap organization, crap stadium, crap city.  Embarrassing.

City is awesome. I spent four nights there this summer. Yeah there are some crap parts but just stay out of those.

Every game matters for a position where top 5 guys have less than 40 starts in their prime.

And for Gibbs' most recent game, he averaged 5 ypc. For reference, Montgomery (the "top guy" on that team) is averaging 3.8 ypc on the year. Install some brakes, and then pump them vigorously.

We‘ve been killing it for sure. The extra picks were amazing. And the small trade ups the last years led to Smith, Davis and Carter.. Really wanted all three more than anyone pre-draft.

But next year we wont get close to the top ten. Let‘s see how that goes.

But we have 10 picks....I would swing for the fences on any super athletic super fast WR's, DB's, Safeties, LB's.....

Yeah Chicago is a blast. Don't get that comment at all. Shite organization for sure though. Such a shame.

@mattwill

Eagles 34

Commanders 12

Bonus: No touchdowns for WAS

@mattwill

The Wasteam starting DL may be the best the Eagles face all year.  Somewhere a Commies’ poster is say the same about the Eagles OL.  The Wasteam back seven, not so much.  Not a fan of their OL.  Think the Eagles can get pressure on Howell and stop their running attack.  The speed at WR will be a bit of a challenge but I think the Eagles can handle it.

Eagles 24 The Team North of Richmond 17

Bonus: Reddick with cast off gets a sack

Chicago is an awesome city. Have never had a bad experience there outside of fighting traffic. Great food, museums, etc. Definitely an odd comment.

I was born and raised in Chicago. Spent 30 years there.  The city is a dump

If he keeps up that pace of INTs, we will have to call him CJGIII

Yeah... having 3 first round picks to start with going in to that draft will do that.

True.  The story is that they went into that Draft with those 3 picks.

Living in a city & being a tourist in a city is not the same thing.

I still have family and friends living there. I'll visit them a couple times a year. I hate going there. Such a dump and all the fd up ish going on there is just sad. People punching out senior citizens at gas stations, stealing their cars and dropping them off at the "chop shop". Yea, such a great city.

Just one of many horrible things that are going on

What part of Chicago?

I did a follow-up on @Connecticut Eagle's mapping of the Wentz trade forward and it came down to the following:

Howie used
Wentz
Ertz
Pryor
2 Firsts (a 6 & a 19)
1 Third (70)
1 Fourth (124)
2 Sixths (a 156 & a 162)
1 Seventh (240)

to get

DeVonta Smith
AJ Brown
Jordan Davis
Jalen Carter
Zech McPhearson
a 2024 Second Round pick

Probably go to Chicago 3-4 times a year to visit friends and family. Wouldn’t pretend that I live there, but I think my experience is a step up from tourist as well.

Grew up in the burbs. Elmwood Park. Cross Harlem and you're in Chicago. Very nice neighborhood. Still a nice neighborhood even tho they have a few problems here and there from the slugs

I’ve spent a lot of time in Naperville, Lincoln Park, Skokie and Gurnee. Definitely some parts of Chicago I’d stay away from, but that’s got to be about every major city.

Much as I admire Fran Duffy and relish his film breakdowns, I have to take some issue with his analyses of both of these plays. On the first play Davis is double-teamed and still drives the RG back into the RB. Morrow gets credit for the tackle but the RB wasn't getting out of the end zone anyway. He was already stacked up.

I posted on the second play yesterday. Davis starts on the inside shoulder of the LG #71 but beats the center #70 with a swim move over his right shoulder, then drives through the RG #69 to completely blow up the play. 71 and 70 end up blocking air and 69 simply doesn't have the power to stop him.

For my money Davis is the key player in these two clips. Both monster plays.

Carter is a natural, but Davis is raw clay, just learning how to play DT after being wasted as a two gap run stopper in Georgia.

A guy with his size and athleticism who is willing to work on technique (primarily using his hands) has almost unlimited upside.

He played a key role in one of the greatest defenses in college history, lol.

And I have 2 close friends that live there and love it. I get it's not for everyone but still to give a blanket statement that it sucks is odd to me.

Oh well. Different strokes.

Naperville and Gurnee are nice areas. Lincoln Park use to be nice. Having the zoo, restaurants, and plenty of bars. Use to spend a lot of time down there when I was in my early 20s. That area isn't the same anymore. Think they've pulled out 14 bodies out of the river so far this year. Also been tons of mugging lately. Guess they're targeting single people leaving the bars. I understand this happens else where but every year gets worse. Ever since Daley left as the mayor and that dumb bish Kim Fox became states attorney, ish has continued to go downhill and downhill bad

I think every city whether major or small has its good parts and bad.  Just depends on what you experience.
