Anyone else worried the league is going to overcompensate for all these starting QB injuries somehow?

Met up with Lawlor a couple of times in 2006 to watch games when I lived in Raleigh.

Drank PBRs of course

Oh yeah, Tommy was there at that training camp as well.  Good dude.

For the first time in a long time the NFC>AFC

There shouldn’t be an uproar about Hurts, or Burrow.  I don’t believe there’s any reason for a player to be on the injury report unless he’s not practicing or is limited.  In those cases I do believe it is required. I don’t think it’s required if they practice.

And that’s really my point. The Hurts thing isn’t an issue and that’s absolutely fine. So the Burrow thing shouldn’t be.

WTF is the purpose of a glove to hold a stylus pen that isn't touching the glove?

Not an artist, but my guess is inadvertant touch rejection. Most digitizer algorithms are good enough to do this on their own, but the rare errant touch every now and then is probably enough to irritate artists enough that they seek to use something like this so they can rest their hand on the tablet without the worry about interfering with their drawing..

I’d say it’s closer. Wouldn’t necessarily say the nfc is better. Frankly feels pretty even

Chiefs, ravens are right there with eagles, niners. I’d put the lions, cowboys, dolphins and jags all in the same group. Lions got worked by the ravens. Cowboys lost to the cardinals. Dolphins can’t beat winning teams. Jags got destroyed by niners like the cowboys.

Minnesota, seattle, saints are pretty on par with Texans, cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo.

IMO Eagles=Chiefs, Lions>Dolphins, Cowboys/9ers>Ravens/Jags

Thanks. I saw them but wasn't sure if it was legit

It is.  I've been in their store in the lehigh valley.

Really unbelievable how much stuff they have.  Better than the pro shop.

So much that it's kinda tight and almost cluttered feeling in there.

They have tons for eagles and Phillies.  A little less but still pretty good for 6ers and Flyers. Even some union stuff. And they also had things from universities including smaller schools like Bloomsburg.

So much stuff.

Glad he at least got paid first. That franchise is just cursed.

I blame Boomer Esiason.  Look at the teams he played for... Bengals, Jets, Cards...   Esiason is a curse!!!

In terms of top-end teams? Yup. It's thinner though.

TIFWIW but report out there it’s an iPad glove that’s why you saw him wearing it while carrying his iPad. Whether it’s believable or not is another story

My son uses one of those... its weird looking but its the only way to do art properly on an iPad.

Maybe Burrow was drawing doodles of competent OL players on his IPad.

It could happen.

While I realize this is a joke, who really is the backup QB GOAT?  Criteria:  they initially had to be at least 2nd string on the depth chart on opening day, and I only count what they did for the one season.

Candidates: Foles, Hostetler, Tom Brady only in the year he won the superbowl as the backup, who else?

Earl Morrall led the Colts and Dolphins to titles when Unitas and Griese were injured. Granted the Colts lost the Super Bowl, and Griese got the start when the Dolphins won theirs, but his achievement both times was legendary.

Does Steve Young count? How about Dan Fouts? Terry Bradshaw? Jalen Hurts? Among many. I admit to having trouble with your criteria.

I think the criteria is winning a championship while being in the role of backup QB.   Earl Morrall would be the list pretty high, I would think.  He started 9 games for the undefeated 1972 Dolphins, and the 2 playoff games leading up to the SB, Griese only came back for the SB.   Of course, the job of handing the ball to Czonka and Morris wasn't too tough... but fwiw, he was voted 1st team All-Pro that year.   And he was ALSO 1st team All-Pro in 1968 for the Colts... and won league MVP, but was ostensibly the backup to Johnny Unitas.  And they won the NFL championship, even though they lost the SB.

I don't see any argument to put the Cowboys above the Ravens.

Chiefs = Ravens.

I am not willing to put the Cowboys ahead of the Jaguars. I saw the Cardinals beat the Cowboys and the Niners dismantle the Cowboys as badly as they did the Jaguars. I get the Jaguars did not look good against 49ers last week, but neither did the Cowboys. I would put the Eagles and Chiefs ahead of everybody. And then the Niners. And then the ravens. And then the Lions (who got smoked by ravens). And then I  have the Jaguars and Cowboys about the same. Because they both are basically the same team where they look good against inferior opponents and struggle against top tier teams. After those 6 teams I would actually say the Texans are playing better football than any of the other teams you want to put at the seventh spot.

Burrow is toast

No, he's not... we all know who Toast is.

@ToastJenkins, don't we?

I met @FranklinFldEBUpper in a seedy parking lot in NJ (aren't they all seedy in NJ?!) and had a great conversation with him.   Also attended a game alongside him and had a blast, sadly the outcome on the field didn't match that.

I also met with @Don Corleone at Brian Dawkins' HOF enshrinement, in Canton.  Another great guy, salt of the earth type.   And while I've never actually met @greend in person (I had a meeting in place with him, but at the last minute a schedule change caused me to miss it), it would have been great to see him.    I miss having him around.

The rest of you mooks, I think I'd get along with as well... probably get along with you better in person than on here.

Was that restaurant parking lot that seedy? And for anyone who might have wondered, it was a midpoint(ish) meeting spot to enact a ticket transaction. The game ended up being great for three quarters. Then not so much after that.

With Goedert, out I hope we incorporate Albert O into the offense a little bit. He’s capable of making a big play on those Goedert screens. If the Chiefs treat him like a TE and not a slot WR, he could do something against a LB.

I’d also like to see a little more pony package as well. If they want to play base against it, split Swift out against the linebacker and get free yardage, especially with Bolton out.

It helps keep the screen from registering your palm as a "touch" when you're drawing/writing.

Rally House college inventory is based on it's locale. The one by me is Penn, West Chester, Temple, Nova, all the Philly/suburban colleges.

Probably. Even though it feels like the majority of them are non-contact.

I guess that makes sense. When I heard "iPad glove” I immediately thought of the Power Glove for Nintendo and was disappointed it looked so lame.

I saw the lions beat the chiefs.

Yeah travis kelce and Chris jones didn’t play and they won by a point. Gonna go out on a limb and say the chiefs with their 2nd and 3rd best player likely look a hell of a lot better.
