Does anyone know what Terrell Edmunds has done with the Titans in 3 games?  Inactive?  Backup?  Playing big snaps and getting torched?  Playing big snaps and playing well?

His performance there should be something we can learn from.

I saw some of 1 game and he was pretty much the same as here. He's around the ball a lot, but not really standing out.

I'm expecting Byard to start becoming something resembling an impact player after the bye.  Getting traded midseason and then immediately getting tossed into a new defense with new coaches and playing with new players that he doesn't know the tendencies of yet.  Bye week after playing 3 games is going to be huge for him.  Especially going up against a familiar opponents for him in KC.  I think he makes a big play on MNF.

Still feel like he would've been an upgrade over Cunningham and Morrow. Sucks that he didn't want to play here for whatever reason.

@mattwill

Birds 27

Chiefs 24

Quez gets a TD.

Does anyone know what his stats are when covering Kelce?

I'd settle for middle of the road starter from him at this point. Anything above that is just extra for us. I hope he can improve. The Eagles just seem to be snake bitten with their deadline trades as of late.

Not sure but here at least is how Kelce has done going against the Titans over the years.

Also 3 rec 30 yards 0 TD in their playoff game in the 2019 season.

I’m also hoping to meet some of you great people in a seedy restaurant parking lot. I have an unmarked brown mini-van and I typically wear a t-shirt that says "Boner Garage” with an upward pointing arrow that I stole from @mikemack8‘s summer storage shed.

Umm you stole the tshirt too, a-hole

Are you sure it is that, or is Penn not willing to let them sell licensed things there?   I honestly haven't seen "Penn" gear anywhere, now that I think about it.

I've seen Penn stuff at Boscov's. I seem to recall seriously considering buying a hoodie or sweatshirt or something like that from there somewhat recently before opting against it. ("Do I REALLY need another hoodie?") So yeah, I've seen Penn clothing around. I always look. I wouldn't necessarily expect to see Penn stuff in any random store, but at a place that specializes in local college clothing, you'd have to expect it to be there.

I get your point though. I just don't think it's likely.

I don't think so. I though it was obvious in the preseason games that Cunningham was the better of the two training camp linebacker signees. Much better in fact. Cunningham was flying around and making himself noticed. Jack on the other hand didn't do "jack". My suspicion at the time was that he "retired" because he knew he wasn't going to make it and the Eagles willingly put him on the list in order to retain some rights to him in case something were to change later on. And I view the most recent transaction to simply have been a courtesy on their part.

All in all, I think the whole thing is one giant "Meh!"

Saturday morning Predictions Update

42 predictions recorded thus far.  24 for an Eagles win and 16 for a Chiefs win and two ties.  Thanks to rounding the Average Predicted Score is now Eagles 29 Chiefs 28.  It is closer than that.

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  So far over the course of the season 101 different EMB posters have made at least one prediction.

A list of the predictions is presented below, sorted alphabetically by the name of the predictor.  If you don't see your name there, then I haven't yet recorded a prediction for you.

Where are you in Chicago.  We have family in Geneva, and visit every now and then.  Next time we are there we can break your string.

Angelo Caputo’s pine nut (pignoli) cookies can be lifted to everyone’s health and happiness!

I’d like that…I’m practically neighbors with your family.  I’ve lived all over the western suburbs.  Was in Crystal Lake a long time ago…then spent 18 years in Batavia.  Just moved to Campton Hills early in ‘22.  Caputo’s is a 5 minute drive and is my main grocery store.  Definitely let me know when you’re next trip is

Man, Travis Hunter is unreal. That does NOT look good the way his knee buckled though. Also, for all the Coach Prime love there was...56-7, why is he still in?

Interesting story about Williams.

I like Cunningham when he's sticking his nose in near the LOS but he can be a bit of a disaster out in space. Jack, even on 2 bum knees, is probably still better in coverage.

Sucks how a plant ruined a man's career.

Especially when the 90s were chocked full of steroids in most professional sports.

I can tell you as a former Dragon, I never look for Penn stuff, so it might have been around and I just ignored it.

In Chicago now. Who has the best pizza and I know it's not Giordano's? :)

Pequod’s.

But seriously, Giordano’s is my favorite. We had a big family get together in Chicago and did a blind taste test of five or six deep dish pizzas. Giordano’s was the winner for me.

I went to Lou Malnati's when I was there.   Was a nice experience (and that's the only way I can think to describe Chicago-style pizza as it takes about 45 minutes for the pizza to come out after ordering).    Anyway, we chose Malnati's, because I went with a friend who has Celiac disease, so she's no-gluten.   They advertised that they had a 'crustless' pizza.  They replace the crust with Italian sausage.   (you read that right).    And I can't tell you how good it was.   Not sure I'd call it 'pizza', but we got it with peppers and onions added... and it was an amazing sausage, tomato and cheese casserole!
