The amount of people who literally know ZERO about Jalyx Hunt calling it a wasted pick is absolutely hilarious, and I’m here for all of it.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

You'd have to think he's tired of all the comments about it no? Celebrate your whiteness Cooper.

We already had a Cooper do that, didn't work out so well!

Jalyx Hunt is old, raw, untested, and the combined showed he’s not as athletic as someone should be to get much consideration under those circumstances.  But there are enough intriguing traits to suggest he could develop into a productive rotational edge, which would be fine.

If payton Wilson stays healthy and works out and Hunt turns into another small school reach Howie is going to get dragged.

I need a WR, off ball LB, RB, OL, and maybe another small pass rusher because Kamara is that good, and Javon Solomon is pretty nice too.

Do we have enough picks?

Ok random stranger. Have a good night.

It is a message board.  You as well if that's possible.

Eagles PR team better not put this Cooper on the calendar in February

Payton Wilson has bad knees AND bad shoulders. He plays one of the most violent positions in the NFL.

In a bad LB class, every team passed on him 3 times. There's a reason for that.

Only to be drafted by one of the teams that values LB the most and gets every ounce out of them.

I’m fine grabbing Trotter Jr with one of our 4th and having him and Dean battle for that spot

Ignorant question.    Simple answer:  "They traded up in the 2nd round to select me.  I believe they will give me an opportunity to prove I can play.  That's all anyone can ask for... opportunity."

lol. bad pick.

Jalyx Hunt was the #64th prospect on Daniel Jeremiah's prospect list, #86 on PFF.  He's been on the NFL network's "Best available" list most of the night.  I'm not sure why everyone is acting like he's some massive unknown reach. He's just a raw project player.

The Eagles get the top Corner in the draft in Mitchell without having to trade up, then moved up and got arguably the second best DB in the draft with Dejean at 40, and a developmental DE with big upside and two extra 4th round picks and people are still complaining. Wah, I never heard of the guy they picked but I heard of this other guy and they didn't take him, wah. Bunch of FN crybabies.

Expanding on my earlier joke, I am fine with them not rolling the dice on Wilson after what happened with Sidney Jones.

This late in the third is when you take that swing, the eagles took it on Hunt and the Steelers on Wilson. Hope it works out for us

Felt like we could’ve picked Hunt up with one of the 30 4th and 5ths we have. Grabbed in ILB, then him.

The Steelers haven't been good at LB for more than a decade.

Baker, McGee, Wright, McCormick…

And with the pick they got from us in a swap for Pickett…

@Don Corleone what's up man? We see you lurking & liking. Hope you're doing well.

Well, hope Trotter Jr. is there for our 4th...

@Don Corleone  Great to see you lurking about.  Don't be a stranger.

I'm just here taking in the sights. Howie's had a very good offseason, the draft has been solid. I would ask "What's to complain about?" but, with Philly fans, there will always be something 😂

What time does the draft start tmw?

Howie made a calculated decision that…in a bad 3rd-7th rounds….rather than take the best highly scouted player on the board with no upside, he’s better off getting a gaggle of picks and doing random crap with picks like this.

Hunt is the definition of boom or bust. Small school, new to his position, not a ton of production…

BUT

Elite athletic traits, unique skill set with his safety background, and a coach/scheme fit to exploit those attributes.

I can get behind this pick using the shotgun approach you mentioned.

Or we could have drafted a LB who could eventually start?   Nahnah nah, lets get a raw nobody rotational edge guy, we can never have enough of those... who the hell needs LB's anyway?
