We can play on Friday in Brazil because they are not under US laws

I just explained it’s because of a loophole in the law around Labor Day being at the very beginning of the month. They bypass it on Black Friday by having the majority of the game being over by 6 PM.

https://www.givemesport.com/nfl-stadiums-seating-capacity-ranked/   Kind of weird a city of that size(Sao Palo) only has a stadium that seats under 50k. Well below even the smallest NFL stadium

There is a bigger stadium that was built in 1960

But they have several stadiums in Sao Paulo

I know Fridays are better than Thursdays for working people. It would also ease things up by a day as far as rest. You'd still have time to recover for a following Sunday game, but you get that extra day from Sunday to Friday. I know it's because of Friday HS games, but I feel there is room for both now and they should make the move

Anything better than Thursday

Not really...it's the day after the regular opener....they could do that every year. It's Friday instead of Thursday or Sunday or Monday.

How does Labor day change anything...that has nothing to do with it. High school will be playing... like GB said... it's because it's outside the US.  Nothing to do with Labor day

A weekend day...first one in September.  Which makes Friday of the game... the 2nd weekend.

Ted Rath was fired. In charge of sports science and conditioning. Looks like he’s taking the fall for the players looking gassed at the end of the year.

Brazil is not subject to US acts of Congress

Televise lol. They get around this by using Peacock. Not difficult to understand. There was no PPV or streaming in 1961

Scapegoat. If the players are not in shape that should be on Siri. What conditioning changed after the bye? IDK. Most of the "gassed players were on D because the O could not keep the ball long enough to rest them. Although I love alot of scoring,if you score too fast, your D gets worn out,or you make bonehead mistakes and go 3 and out.

Barkley should be worth his weight in gold this year as far as ball control where we wear out THEIR D

Or you could look at conditioning being very much on the individual players themselves…cough cough…Jordan Davis. You could also say the D doesn’t get off the field and get the stops they needed as to why they were getting gassed. Kept the ball from returning to the O to stay in any kind of rhythm also…but that’s a whole different story….

That's true, but the coach needs to threaten them with pine time. He sees what's going on every day. He gets reports every day. Despite his "emotional outbursts" Siri doesn't seem like the "tough love" type

"Pine time” would give them the needed breather that wasn’t afforded.

Sounds like all he’s getting is reports this season. Hurts didn’t even have an answer for Siri’s involvement in the O this season when questioned.

Gotta consider our team played all the way through the SB to end 2022 season. Then played every game down to the wire all season without being able to pull or rest players…couldn’t even take it easy at the end of any games….including two OT games vs Washington and Buffalo. Giants and Cards games the D just look zapped. Looked whatever is past zapped the games after that.

Media really reaching at straws to drum up strive between Siri and Hurts lol honestly comical at this point listening to the media

Not sure they need to dig much. What’s Siri’s job anymore? It’s completely Fangio’s D…including personnel. Completely Moore’s O. Rosie is in charge of decision making for each coordinator. Had a media opportunity with Rosie and Siri this offseason with the press not asking a single question to Siri. He’s not even that great at the press conference part of things which is all that’s really left for him to do. Basically just a middle man to take the fall if things don’t go according to plan at this point.

If a player doesn’t agree or get along with Siri is he getting benched? Traded? Cut? If Siri wants to do something Fangio doesn’t…what happens? Siri I guess is in charge of timeouts and challenges now. That’s about it. Going to team banquets for photo ops. Kick the field goal or go for it on fourth down situations along with whether to go for the two point conversion…maybe. I prefer in several of those circumstances making the choice with belief you have a playcall you feel strongly will work though. Which wouldn’t be the case in this situation with him being detached.

I thought Siri lost the team last season. Was surely going to be axed.

Go back to the Chiefs game and Siri is raising his hand up antagonizing Mahomes…Hurts has to regulate his HC and pull his arm down. Then Siri has that outburst yelling at the Chiefs fans after the game walking into the tunnel. Our Qb is much more mature than our HC. How would you feel in that scenario? Add to that Hurts long time family friend was the fall guy for the O becoming so stale and not having any adjustments or answers to adapt. Definitely would have to believe it would have been easier on Hurts to have lost Siri than Johnson.
