His supporting cast in 2021 just carried him to overcome Siri to lead our franchise changing winning streak to make the playoffs. Siri wouldn’t have lasted half a season without everybody bailing him out..:especially including Hurts.

You keep trying to use the Siri start as a knock against Siri but it’s the complete opposite a coaching knowing he needs to give up control and play calling is not a norm.

Majority of coaches would have went down with the ship in that same scenario.

So you are crediting him with being forced to understand he sucks and to get out of the way. In fact all evidence points towards the more he is in the way the weaker the results. The more he gets out of the way is where our success stems from.

Because that’s the way of today’s NFL. Some special HC examples that aren’t O minds. But you aren’t getting a top O mind without making him HC.

No reason to even argue against the run fakes importance and reliability in football ever. But ignoring developing versatility is going to bite us when we need it. You’ll be the first one to attack Hurts over the results when it happens…we all already realize this.
