That’s what he did was roll…but a few times they did block the throwing lane.

I already responded to this thought. He either has to sidestep to get a clear lane or he needs to rainbow the passes. Now that Defenses know he WON'T, everyone and their brother will have their arms up playing us. Year 5,he should already know this. Even doing this small thin will make him better. Those are the small things me and Joe have harped about for 2 years. Or I have(not putting words in Joe's mouth). So much more he can do to improve his game, but we a inept haters who know nothing LOL

My WAY too early 3 round mock    1) Deion Walker-DT-Kentucky     2) Cameron Williams-ROT-Tenn     3) Gunnar Helm-TE-Texas

Its kind of odd about Hurts.   For a while he was throwing the ball everywhere but had a lot of turnovers

Now he doesn't seem to be able to pull the trigger

Can we get a game with a happy medium?

I'm happy because he wins when he doesn't turn the ball over.  I don't see him ever correcting the short comings.

Not his fault that he can't see over the line

Not his fault he has a below average NFL arm for the modern game

Right there he has to overcome things other QBs don't.   So instead let him play to his strengths... one is his group of teammates. The other he can run.  He does great on the tush push.

Why change and try to be something he isn't.   That's exactly why McNabb went south  .... just be you. If it's the college RPO,  then run it better than anyone else ever has.

The way I look at it...you expect your elite players to do as much as possible and expand their games.  But the mediocre guys excel when they stay in their lane, and struggle when they get away from their strengths.

Simple reads...be a threat to run...take care of the ball.  That's perfect for Hurts.

He’s been doing this since week one

He’s a good LB. We don’t have the need this second. I kind of actually understand his thinking. He’s clearly starting caliber LB. Niners have such a great relationship with Greenlaw though. We have Dean playing through tough injury right now. I have strong belief in Trot as well.

No the O line didn't blow it. he had a ridiculous amount of time to throw. They are linemen not magicians. I will agree with the last sentence. He needs to understand the routes may not put the receiver exactly where they should be. As you said he has to adjust to the adjustments and he has difficulty with that. Those timing throws especially. IDK he should know all this by now. He should be lighting defenses up every series,it's frustrating watching him bog down

Not issues with the timing throws so much with these things.

What is " Moore's O" ?     What specifically do you think is so different that needs to develop?  All I see you post is all this general vague stuff?   I mean, it's the same sport?  How would Siri or anyone else, stop our players from working on the offense?  You make zero sense?

Football is football.... different words for the formations and plays.   A guy runs in motion, how much does the offense need to work on that to learn?  A QB goes under center, how difficult is that?  Does the left tackle pass block someone other than the RDE???

What is this entirely different " Moore's O" that you are thinking we are supposed to see?

It is a very different O…with an actually scheme. So when that guy goes in motion the D adjusts….which EVERY O player has to adjust to on the fly. Hurts referred to as "synchronization”…in one word that’s the best way to describe it.

OK.. here is the version where Moore stays with the Eagles..... follow me here because it can get complicated....   Lurie writes him a check and nobody else comes calling for a promotion.  Then Moore stays... not difficult.  I mean, Moore has had how much success winning playoff games?    He will take another OC job for a lesser organization... why?

Unless he goes to a team with a defensive head coach, how do you think he will take another OC job to where he can have more control than with the Eagles?    OH no... Siri wants to run the ball and have his QB avoid throwing dumb picks?   How can he work with that????   LOL   He needs to go to another organization that is used to winning only 5 games or so, so that his QB is free to throw interceptions????

But I don't get how you absolutely know Siri is more involved today than he was in the spring?  He doesn't have a chart during the game, how much control could he have other that deciding to go for it or kick... tush push... what else do you think he overrules Moore on?

The whole media and the organization ALL say Moore calls the plays.   Why do you think different?  Because of your bias of Hurts?  Because you couldn't see what I was telling you all along?  He is a limited passer. Always has been.... just go watch his 2022 highlight tape.

I’m just telling you what I see from watching the games. When we find out to background info it can help the understanding as well. Example: Oline came to Siri demanding to run the ball.

Hard to optimistic being 6th in yards and 8th in scoring.... with AJ, Smith and Goedert all missing at least 3 games each, some at the same time.  In year one of this offense.

Yeah, such a tough life being an Eagles fan right now... 9 wins in a row, being that high ranked offensively... best OL, best RB, Top WRs when they are healthy and play together ...some young studs on the defense...  just so tough being an Eagles fan at the moment. At least 25 teams in a much better situation right now.  So excited for those fans!

Hey…if it was just about beating the Browns and Panthers? I’d be with you. But when you have opportunities with a good team? Want much more.

OK... can you find a team that is better pass blocking out of the 31 others?   The experts say there are only a few.

With Hurts you give EVERY excuse... he doesn't have to be the best for you.... yet with our stud OL, you go out of your way to try to make it seem like they are not elite?   No OL is perfect, we can compare them to each other, when you do that and take into consideration both run blocking and pass protection, our OL is graded by the experts as the best.

To continue to try to argue against that just makes a person look dumb.

Our Oline is absolutely elite…run blocking. Dominant!

out of 32 QBs... do you think Hurts is in the top half in this skill of reading a defense?   How about top 20 or top 25?

Why don’t you try not oversimplifying and explain to me what all reading a D entails?

You can't claim the Kansas City Chiefs have had kicker problems this season, because anyone they put on the field has found success in crunch time. The Chiefs have had three different kickers make a game-winning field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter this season. No other team in NFLhistory has had more than ONE kicker do so in a single season. While the Chiefs have used three different kickers in 13 games

Pretty awesome you’ve been able grandpa that long. I’m not a Granpa myself…but my younger sister is a grandma. As an old dad…not sure how much I’ll get of that blessed experience. Eat up every bite you can get of that experience my man.

We’ve been needing to push forward with the development of the O. But Siri reigned things in and went backwards on us. Had some injuries that made things a bit difficult. But feels like finally now everybody is starting to realize what I’ve been trying to say all along. I love 9 straight wins. But bigger picture goals of having this team at its best and most versatile at the end here is what’s the most important. So yes….I prioritize those make or break end of season divisional games and especially the playoffs.

So the lack of comfort lacking repetition and actually executing these plays on the fly against actual opponents…not just TC practice…is priceless for us.

49ers are done... team missed their opportunity to win.

Rams are looking real strong. They are a team that started slow….but playing real competitive ball right now. Be your best at the end…is what matters most…as long as you make the playoffs that is. Rams I believe are the top no playoff team at the moment just behind those Commanders. Very easily could be seeing them this postseason.

SF is a dumpster fire!   Delusional fanbase... they shot their load, missed their window.   Downhill from here, except limited cap space and picks.

GM couldn't get the QB position right....Coach who just doesn't have control of the emotions of the players.

Dumpster fire.

You need years to perfect a guy going in motion?

The Eagles NEVER did motion prior to this year?

Gimme a break here!
