Some things need to be more abstract and theory. That’s the point I’m making. It’s exactly using any example specific details that always you hang on so hard. You miss the ideas and concepts over the use of a theoretical example. All you hear is the example name…..not the thoughts behind it that actually are what’s important.

But it doesn't make good conversations because we can't read your mind.  And if you think you aren't the best with words...then surely you see where there is s potential problem for nobody understanding what you are trying to say?

If you miss a conversation or go on vacation... you get 20 pages behind...do you ever go back to see what the conversation was?

I have so I know what you all are talking about, right now we are on page 1310... if I had to get back to 1280.. I'm not going to do it one at a time???   Isn't it obvious the page #s are there so we can go back?

Really I don't think I'm the only one on here that could figure that out?  I'm the last one to even do an avatar??   That's basic common sense when you see page #s on a site, so you can go to a page.

All this time I never clicked on the page numbers. Doubt I’m the only one. But yep I fully admit…never figured that out before. Could come in handy…..

So if you missed a weekend and it's 20 pages....you would just say F it I don't care what they have been talking about...or you would hit the previous button 20 times?

I think I just admitted I can understand how I don’t get my point across in the best ways at times. Won’t argue against that. But like I said….some ideas and philosophies have to be understood in more broad terms than always being to overly specific ….because what happens is the idea and thought get lost in the specific hypothetical BS example. Something like hearing Miles sanders brought up…because I used him in any theoretical examples. The whole concept got lost…all that’s heard is…Miles Sanders. So some of it revolves around the audience.

Doubt you are the only one either... but let's be honest, the majority on here haven't had the internet since being on their 20s or younger in BGs case. Lol

Think I’ve been the go back a couple pages to know what the conversation going on is…that’s about it.

Well...in fairness with Sanders... you called him a special talent.    He isn't.

It's hard to get past that part.

I just got my license... because of covid, we didn't need to go get the photo last time..  so my last picture was December 2016....

I showed my kids....this is why they say look how president ages after 2 terms in office.

Tough 8 years...lol

Compared to Gainwell there was a large gap. Special talent sounds a bit much. But at the end…he just made too many dumb mistakes. I envisioned a two headed monster situation like Sanders and Swift. Something…since Rosie seemed heck bent against getting the top RB. The trade offer he made for McCaffery was pathetic. What was it like a third rounder? I wasn’t that high on Sanders though…just recognized how much better he was then than the rest. I do remember clearly using him as an example of overpaying to complete a Championship roster. That if you have every other personnel pieces than overpaying for the last piece…I’m totally for. Get great value everywhere you can….but you gotta finish the puzzle.

You said those exact words... " special talent "

I said he brings nothing special..he s good at running through a big hole...where he had plenty in 2022.

I said I like him in the role of an early down runner in a committee.  He can't play on key downs... it's why Gainwell had to play on those.

I don't think Sanders is a better player than Gainwell at all.   I think you will see that as Gainwell leaves to play somewhere else . If we look back in 5 years... we will see who did more in the league.  And we both can agree Gainwell brings more than just stats... Sanders brings nothing in addition to rushing stats.

Ideally with those 2... your 3rd RB needs to bring something..  preferably short yardage.  2021 we had Howard... worked great to compliment the other 2... we had a better rushing season in 2021 spreading the ball as compared to when they had an agenda to feed Sanders in hope to get his stats up for a comp pick.

The gray doesn't bother me... in photos it's the white that stands out.   Funny, when it's wet it stays dark...but the gel isn't is style anymore ...lol

Sanders was the better receiver than Gainwell.

My daughter is graduating 8th grade this year... I remember clear as day as she started school... " enjoy yourself and make friends with everyone, soon enough you will be my age and you don't see everyone as much and you regret not getting to know people more"  .boom here we are!

Brutal.

If you remember Siri never wanted sanders. Sanders had to change his running style..for Siri. Which worked great here. But his original style would have benefitted him much much more in Carolina. Completely screwed him there. But whatever…he got paid. Good for him. Don’t really care. Our Oline can open a beautiful hole at times. The difference between guys that can take that all the way to the house and a 9 yard gain is a big deal to me. Like to take full advantage of that Oline run blocking investment.

Not at all.  A couple of plays back with Wentz.... nothing reliable.  Sanders better chance of a big play if a hole is there.   Gainwell better at everything else.

I get that you think " this guy is coach's favorite "  but come on, this is the NFL ..surely you can see why the players would prefer Gainwell out there on a key play over Sanders.  Just more assignment reliable!

But you can't obsess... " guys that can take it to the house "  ...it's not flag football.  You need assignments completed.   More to playing RB than just taking it to the house.   The little things Gainwell was always more reliable.  Even as a rookie.

But Sanders was always gone. I never had thought otherwise. I don’t believe Gainwell sniffs what Sanders did. I do mean DiD…don’t see any future for him.

If you are a coach. . You think you are the great O mind ( I'm saying you as in you, me or anyone,  not saying you are thinking you are the great o mind)

Then you want guys who are reliable with assignments.   I designed a play...this guy needs to block, needs to run this route,  needs to catch...needs to not fumble... you like Gainwell over Sanders....in EVERYTHING BUT... taking it to the house...that is Sanders only edge over Gainwell.
