I mean look at Q and DeJean and the WR's that come out and smoke the league The schemes used in college and even high school have the basics of NFL schemes. Much different watching that level now than it was back then... my HS ran the wishbone.
January 28, 20251 yr Texans fired Bobby Slowik totally missed that one…. Apparently was not a great relation between him and CJ

In contrast, my cousin's kid who played on a state championship team ... was the center and had to snap in shotgun every snap. Even watching my older cousin's kid who is going to be 35 this year, I remember them running way more advanced concepts. The game has definitely evolved.

He passes the eye test But not in pass coverage was my exact point. But totally understand and appreciate yours. He can make some plays. I think he’s vulnerable in coverage.

You think because it hasn’t happened jeans it won’t so often. Like teams winning SBs….or a terrible P screwing up in the biggest game. Yet FL and I both were concerned about it before it actually happened.

You know 1 week at a time that failed so badly this season with a suck HC Well these issues can clearly affect decision making. Getting a guy this offseason that not looks to be real strong for two more seasons….might be a good option for us. Just saying….in all my possible scenarios I can imagine. Just like might be willing to say FU to the 2028 cap situation if you felt that way also.

Takes a few reps to get there, so find a kid and lets get started, Stout will work his magic. We had Mailiata for a few years(although he didn't even know the game) so a "sit and wait your turn" should be fine with any prospect Yeah it’s a very obvious scenario you are looking at to me. It’s exactly how our team operates. Draft the T….maybe he’s a backup at G and T next season. Thought that was kind of the idea possibly with Steen. Let him start at RG then possibly get out to T. Still kind of seems like possibly the plan with him.

He's good about forgetting and going to the next play but still you are now in his head LOL He flopped away that RPO fumbling. He really makes so many of the mistakes Hurts Haters bash on our QB about. Hurts doesn’t have his arm….but those two are so very similar. He’s had top notch coaching all along and is older though.

January 28, 20251 yr The punter slipped... but then again Reddick fired his agent. And every team talks directly to players instead of the agent a day before the league year starts.

Just crazy when your top two QBs are injured and we ended up being n the situation to run a QB sneak or fake of how many times against Washington? That one scenario could have been utilizing a player on what like ten plays in that game? Pretty sure players have dressed on gamedays and done less.

We actually held on to that piece of junk P while he was injured…just so he could dress and choke.
