Is that what’s important? Think doing the crucial longer term leg work setting up all the future seasons more important. Take the time to do everything developing the franchise QB priority number one. Ten years after what can be done bigger than just try and win week one sacrificing the future so heavily.

He was never the lead back. Ship isn't either so hard to say he is an upgrade. Don't really care as long as he contributes in a + way

Siri inherited a 4 win team and took them to 9 his first year. It's important for you to know how Siri grew as a HC, so Johnson should be able to match our "suck" HC

Difference being that Oline crease provided Shipley big gain versus 7 yard Gainwell limited burst. Huge factor with Stout’s guys. Our huge Oline been known to get in a pancake or two. That creating a huge play versus a good play is the big difference I’ve been specifically pointing out we’ve needed to take advantage of.

I mean over and over I’ve detailed thoroughly my feelings about Siri terrible first year performance. Can’t really be defined any different. He faced surely being fired…which self preserving he gave things over to Steichen to carry him. Johnson had to such option to rely on another coach to carry his guys dogging out of the HC made hole.

But keep pumping those 9 wins in 2021 as Siri achievement. 2-5 while skipping franchise QB priorities…only defined as terrible and wasn’t ready. Him forced out of self preservation to get out of the way so another coach could save his butt isn’t defined as the HC greatness. It was so clearly damning instead of how Steichen gets the same exact team to thrive and get hot that Siri had looking like a disaster. Same exact guys…two different coaches lead…one terrible the other they get hot and overcome what the first one was doing.

Doesn’t get anymore clear of how bad the coaching was. At least have some grey area of Steichen took over and they still were terrible. Could just say …they weren’t any good. But you running things and they suck…then another takes over the exact same situation and they thrive? Never gets more clear a situation proving you were doing a terrible job.

I go way further. Actually think Rosie and Lurie so brilliantly devised the whole scheme to trick Moore into everything. Which is much more than just one season as OC winningbthecSB.
