Anybody explain why our 2024 team needed to play to not lose…without relying on referring to the results achieved of they didn’t lose doing that.

Think Saquan tapped into the key I wasn’t identifying to precisely behind my beliefs. But 2024 Eagles just can’t reach but so high stacking up in all time greatness. Not because it wasn’t possible. Because of Siri decisions. Can’t be elite stacked O that doesn’t score in the first quarter and not suffer in the elite all time comparisons. Can’t have the HC hold them back instead of just letting such elite unstoppable talent go produce displaying it.

"What Does Sirianni Even Do?”

This is the line that really gets me: "I still don’t know what Nick Sirianni does.”

It’s as if Sirianni is just some random guy who stumbled into the job and lucked into a winning record. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Sirianni sets the tone for the culture, just like a great CEO sets the tone for an organization. You can’t just ignore what he does because you can’t physically see it on the field.

People used to laugh at Dan Campbell, too. Now he’s universally praised for what he’s done with the Lions. Sirianni is no different. He’s built an extremely strong culture, kept the locker room united, and produced consistent success. This is not an easy thing. It’s not easy to ask one of the NFL’s best wide receivers to block down the field 30 times a game, but AJ Brown does it. It’s not easy to keep DeVonta Smith happy when he only gets a few targets a game. But Sirianni manages to do it. This is good leadership.

Many of Sirianni’s critics are what I’d call "scheme guys.” They want to see exciting play designs on 3rd and 12. They admire coaches like Mike McDaniel for their X&Os wizardry. I get it. These guys are fun! But being a great leader isn’t just about designing the best play. It’s about winning!

The Eagles win differently. They dominate with talent, physicality, and execution. They don’t need to reinvent football brand new plays every Sunday. They throw deep to A.J. Brown against single-high coverage. They run counter with Saquon Barkley and he runs for a long touchdown. It’s not flashy, but it’s effective. And that should count for something.

Greatest Show on Turf Vermeil unleashed! Maybe more talented. Trying to think of any other instance ever in football where the coach chose to hold such elite players back. Had that Ravens SB winning team. Where greatest D….limited O…so coached let that D win..,O side just not make mistakes and hurt them. Similar coaching decisions and team approach. Difference being that Ravens O didn’t have talent..stunk pretty much. So that approach was needed.

So why would fairly similar coaching decision approach that champion Raven team deployed be needed with the 2024 Eagles? Great D…but arguably better O.

I understand, and since I myself have completed the research. I know what is involved for him to complete it. If he refuses to do the work that is a straightforward reflection on his character.

This is about as ludicrous and terrible a statement as your original opinion was. Why is it solely on me to counter your statement any further than I already have? Not every example applies backing me up…a few don’t apply for either of us. Yet if you did research..had any reply…or could make a case to defend and backup your incredibly bad opinion? That has been well past reasonable time to have been so crucially needed for you to have supplied. I just went on and on with example after example making your statement and opinion look completely ignorant. Not like kind of incorrect. It’s been flat out straight embarrassing and humiliating you. You state I at times don’t give ample chances for a reply. So I just kept pausing…then provide another list of examples breaking down just how ridiculous your statement proved to be.

Nothing else required of me completing your annihilation in that …can’t call it a debate…because you never could even attempt any response to back up how you ever possibly believed that was hardly ever the case…much less something usual and ordinary.

It’s already 20 for me and 0 for you. Sadly I could still keep going. But 10 for me was all required to disprove you. You didn’t just get embarrassed and humiliated…you lost credibility. Terrible opinion you actually hit submit with. Then stuck with such an indefensible position in the face of overwhelming example after example all flying in your face …all not slightly…but completely proving just how exactly opposite of your opinion the whole league displays in fact.

You being wrong is bad. Me pointing out just the simple obvious how it’s actually the exact opposite across the entire league is humiliating. NFL HC do exactly the opposite of your shared opinion you some how believed.

Here's what you said IDK how league leading yardage is not clutch

It isn’t. In every way it isn’t clutch. It’s fantastic! Plenty of descriptives so positive. But nothing to do with clutch.

How did you squeeze this post in between Ham's 30? 🤣

The team had a great bonding session playing basketball.... Copper Dejean stood out winning the 3 point contest and dunking after Barkley threw a lob pass off the backboard.

Cooper was even better than Copper... lol

Like I keep pointing out to you…just stats you can’t rely on as everything. See you confuse me stating they aren’t everything either …no meaning. Which in no way should you be doing. Clutch is when the biggest moment and everything on the line. Kicking 100 percent field goals all season..fantastic. Clutch is kicking just that one game winner for the championship.

I mean..,can’t believe I’m trying to explain clutch. It’s hitting that ten foot putt on 18 to win the Masters. Thousands of putts made…but those aren’t in the clutch.

RBBC mean you play the best guy for the situation you are in, Sanders was a mediocre RB. Siri cannot afford to play favorites, his job is to make his boss look good and accomplish that as he sees fit

Great take. A weakness. No Mas boy Chipper was real bad playing favorites…or being against certain players just as bad. Schwartz good coach. But sticking with favorites was a weakness. Older players that were really good for him…but blinded with bringing them in here and using them after they had no juice left.

Sanders was clearly the best back here at that time. Call him whatever you wish. He was the guy could stack up the yards and make the plays. Gainwell just never been that guy. Third string good all around reliable player. That’s his ceiling. Never was a question give the ball to Samders instead if Gainwell. Same thing with Swift. No HOF RB, but way better athlete than Gainwell. Wasn’t close. You bring in a stronger comparison against Sanders or Swft…then you create competition and choice. As things stood…there was none. Those were clear starters best we had.

You said he had no experience in short yardage LOL

Nope…not that either. You gotta just slow down and follow along. Disagree with my statement is fine. But you keep missing the defining exact point. Said Barkley isn’t great power short yardage. He did it some. Did it maybe around the edge better than straight up. But never said Barkley didn’t have experience. Didn’t say he didn’t have short yardage experience. Clearly…very specifically said he lacked much big game experience.

Words out of their mouths "stripped of his duties/power”. Post the video.

CEO HC was exactly the term that began over the whole situation. This was GM, Lurie and Siri saying to the media. Don’t know man…it happened…exactly how things went down. Dig it up…since you missed that pretty big moment announcing Siri was staying on for 2024. This is a you problem. You missed it. You don’t understand it. You struggling to search Google and presser archived.

3rd and 2 and I am a DC. I have all 8 guys on Bark. Know any RB's that can break an 8 on 1?(yes I know it's an extreme example) and as far as a pancake, don't you think as you move through the playoffs those get harder to do when you face the top talent? Bark was great all year but he was keyed on in the SB(not just a box). That's the plan that allowed us to win, just a beautiful strategy by the newly extended coach HC you hate. Also Howie fixed that issue by bringing in Dillon, so Bark isn't beat up and wasted when it's his time to "choke" IDK what else you want the man to do (Bark) OH he dropped a pass, he sucks. Sad to report Bark is human

Saquan was number two overall draft pick. You follow? A RB second pick. Guys always been keyed on. He’s a beast. College and pros. For you to just imagine the second overall pick and top paid RB that was OPoY wasn’t keyed on is ludicrous. You just pointed out he was rushing for the most yards in NFL history. Everybody understood Saquan was elite and a huge problem always…behind our Oline after we signed him…every DC absolutely understood how difficult that was going to be. He always faced being keyed in on. 8 man box pretty standard and normal. Dude…his whole college and pro career…but you some how thinking Chiefs just were the first to try and do that? C’mon man!!!!!!

See the stacked box was actually key to all the huge TDs, our Oline created a crease against that…he’s gone. Nobody back there to stop him. Stacked box behind our Oline especially worked for Saquan.

So much to reply about here. But let’s just take that final bit. They just run basic plays relying solely on superior players to make the plays. See there should be some version to have a higher expectation. Why do our guys have to always just overcome and make the plays happen? Sometimes every O this happens every game. But why this lacking of expectation that we shouldn’t have a better O and scheme? Why are we disadvantaged with our guys having to claw and fight to overcome lacking a pro O? Other teams O minds like you said scheme mediocre players open to produce. Call a fair amount of plays where the D has to maybe just hesitate that one step ‘reading.’

"I think a lot of the criticism stems from Sirianni’s awkward first press conference. People made their minds up about him right then and there and haven’t changed them since. That’s the unfortunate part of sports media. People don’t want to admit they were wrong. Admitting you’re wrong is harder than just doubling down. So, people will keep saying that Sirianni is overrated and the Eagles’ success is down to everyone else.

Jeffrey Lurie said it best in his statement: the Eagles want to build a championship culture, and Sirianni embodies that vision. He empowers the people around him to do their jobs, and that’s exactly what a great leader does.

Nick Sirianni has proven himself. He fits this team. He fits this organization. He has built something that works. Will he be here for a decade? I highly doubt it. But based on what he’s done so far, there’s no question in my mind that keeping Sirianni is the right call.”

Take our guys that have been overcoming the O scheme and mind void and put them in just an average O NFL situation. Why is that too much of an expectation? Just provide average..,instead of forcing them to overcome.

Saquan stating 2024 Eagles top all time team.

Not what he said.

So…pulling things back Siri chosing to play not to lose worked for the most part. So can’t really say much against that choice. Especially after those results. But just because that approach worked…doesn’t mean the opposite approach wouldn’t have also worked. We are left to just wonder and ponder what if? What if instead of playing not to lose and holding back so very much….instead Siri coached seeking greatness instead? What if Siri just unleashed all that talent trusting in just how dominant and great they would perform. That choosing to dominate and just simply showcase how opponents just couldn’t keep up with how lethal we were unleashed towards achieving optimal peak greatness?

When you accomplished the summit, the very top, what is there left to wonder or ponder? The simple answer is nothing. #1 is as high as you can go. Time to lie back and bask in the reflected glory.
