Embarrassment and humiliation are imaginary friends of yours.

Not imaginary…here explaining what Clutch is…how it’s not something revolves around tons of varying significant moments. Replying about NFL coaches utilizing their strength of wisdom and knowledge even as HC. Since main factor qualifying a coach for that job usually being great O or D mind. I get the thinking with great HC doesn’t have to be the genius on either side of the ball. Also genius X and O proven not near enough alone to be a quality HC.

But…a CEO HC not genius at O or D is a disadvantage. It requires hiring a top O and D minded coach for the CEO to succeed. Instead of HC running one side of the ball only needing one top compliment coach hire. Top O minds clearly most coveted receiving HC jobs at the highest percentage. So it’s just the way things are setup in the NFL. You get a good HC that’s top O minded…easiest path over time to consistently succeed.

Lurie doesn’t agree with you

Our situation presents obvious difficulties hard to achieve. But really nailed Fangio. He one jumping to HC most likely and wants to be here. So really set for years there. But O…we face every season under Siri.

Siri completely reliant on a top O and top D minded coach to succeed. Hardest situation to face.

Making things more difficult is Siri believing he is the O mind. Running his O. So what top O mind going to be willing to choose us?

Quality O mind not getting a HC gig…could accept OC under McVay. AR…you know being under a guy he’s not so clearly above. But sorry and all…coaches aren’t looking at Siri agreeing with him about respecting his O genius. Maybe Reich come be our OC. Steichen possibly after getting canned. Why it was so crucial to make clear Siri was only CEO and OC hired for 2024 was running his O. That’s how they tricked Moore even into taking the OC job here.

We need Siri to develop and actually become that O coach. Or…realize he isnt. Him losing confidence believing in himself not likely any time soon.

Think most likely he could develop into quality CEO HC. Good with people and confident to be in charge.

What is he disagreeing with you quoted me about?

"Nick Sirianni’s story isn’t about flashy speeches or viral soundbites.

It’s grit, grind, and a locker room vibe that feels more like Friday night under the lights than corporate NFL drudgery. And somehow, the man who once had fans howling for his job now has Lombardi confetti in his rearview. Enter Kyle McCord, the Eagles’ new rookie quarterback. A Philly kid who grew up idolizing Donovan McNabb and now finds himself back home.

When McCord walked into the NovaCare Complex this spring, he expected cold professionalism. Instead, he found a culture that "feels like a college program,” as he told Kay Adams on Up & Adams. No one’s handing out participation trophies here. But the vibe? McCord calls it "tight-knit”—a rarity in a league where egos often clash louder than cymbals at a Mummers Parade.

The Verdict Is In

McCord’s praise isn’t just lip service. It’s a direct endorsement of Nick Sirianni’s rebuilt culture.“ I don't think he gets his flowers,” McCord said. "He got there, and immediately they started winning. Going to [the] Super Bowl.” And the Eagles’ decision to extend Sirianni’s contract on Monday—with a year still left on his deal—cements his status as Philly’s cultural CEO.

Twelve months ago, critics called him a dead coach walking. Now? He’s 54-23 (.701 win percentage), with two Super Bowl trips and one ring. Even Eagles general manager Howie Roseman’s skeptics have gone quiet. Sirianni’s secret? "He wants it to feel like a college program,” McCord emphasized. Translation?

Accountability without arrogance, swagger without entitlement. It’s a balance as delicate as a pretzel from Miller’s Twist. Rookies aren’t treated like expendable pawns. Veterans aren’t coddled. And when the Eagles stumbled to a 2-2 start last season, Sirianni didn’t panic. He recalibrated, leading a 16-1 sprint to glory.“

I mean go along with ignoring every circumstantial sign surrounding 2023 that Siri was totally in charge of the O. That was after making the SB. Big power for Siri going into 2023. That your opinion is he that season was less hands on than 2024 when he was stripped of power? No logic being applied could conclude this.

Where in everything Lurie says do you hear "stripped of power”?

It isn’t. In every way it isn’t clutch. It’s fantastic! Plenty of descriptives so positive. But nothing to do with clutch.

If he wasn't clutch with Siri's pullback, we wouldn't have clawed our way out of a 2-2 start letting your god pass the ball. Absolutely clutch for our SB season. He continued to be clutch all the way, game after game after game, but of course having all eyes and bodies keyed on him in the SB makes him a choke. My definition of "clutch" is just as solid as your definition of "choke", so now you can see how your statement about choking is so far out in left field

Great take. A weakness. No Mas boy Chipper was real bad playing favorites…or being against certain players just as bad. Schwartz good coach. But sticking with favorites was a weakness. Older players that were really good for him…but blinded with bringing them in here and using them after they had no juice left.

Gains was such a favorite, Swift/ Sanders were RB1's all year except for the opening drive Gains had LOLOLOLOL. If it was a will Gains would have been disappointed being the favorite and all

Sanders was clearly the best back here at that time. Call him whatever you wish. He was the guy could stack up the yards and make the plays. Gainwell just never been that guy. Third string good all around reliable player. That’s his ceiling. Never was a question give the ball to Samders instead if Gainwell. Same thing with Swift. No HOF RB, but way better athlete than Gainwell. Wasn’t close. You bring in a stronger comparison against Sanders or Swft…then you create competition and choice. As things stood…there was none. Those were clear starters best we had.

"special talent". That's why Gainwell was NEVER, EVER RB1 nor was he the "favorite" Sanders a little better than Gains, but Gains was not signed as RB1, he was signed as a role player which he did fine for a long time. if he was Siri's fav it's hard to buy. Knowing we had Shipley on the way up to assume Gains role, meant Siri let his "favorite" walk

If Gainwell was Siri's favorite why isn't he still here??????

"Clutch" is whatever you want it to be for however long you want it to be

Is Siri doing his job? yes/no (remember what his job is????) His job description does NOT include" You need to make Ham happy". That clause was left out. The unwritten clause is "you need to make LURIE happy"

So Siri is now in charge of the roster and draft completely? We all know first season Gainwell was his choice. Not really anything linking Siri to Shipley. Shipley I believe clearly should have overtaken Gainwell except as a blocker in a matter of a few weeks into the season. Now this I admit volunteering can only be labeled as based on my opinion. Just because Shipley wasn’t given opportunity yet. Going to become very apparent real quick just how obvious recognizing the talent gap should be. My belief easier than noticing Swift talent superiority over Gainwell. Swift was obvious…his main drawback just durability related mostly.

But Gainwell was number one staring RB week one by Siri. Can’t be classified any other way. He began the season as the starter. Only thing changed this was he got injured.

Before injury in 2023

Gainwell 14 rushes and 4 receptions

Swift 1 rushing attempt and 1 reception

This is exactly what I contend with all the time here. MattyWill denied it and fought against the truth. You have for over a year now. 18 touches versus 2….Gainwell injured I even think was the Swift 2 after.

So explain how Gainwell wasn’t the starter week 1 2023 looking directly at the stat sheet

Swift only got 1 freakin’ run…1

This isn’t grey areas…or opinion based…1 carry isn’t even part of a committee.
