If he still can do it. They were facing likely no more Brotherly Shove planning for also. So was a factor they were anticipating. But the need exists anyway.
May 23, 20251 yr Saquan just wasn’t great at finishing on those short situations. Kept pointing out how they just weren’t feeding Hurts ignoring Saquan. They really several times tried multiple attempts to reward Saquan after good plays by giving him the goaline run. Really were forced to turn to Hurts instead. Saquan sick! But does have some flaws seemed to clearly show defined.
May 23, 20251 yr Like big pressure clutch…Saquan lacked experience …so maybe now he’s ready after the exposure. Or maybe he just isn’t clutch. His hands catching just aren’t great. He gets it done…and once the ball in his hands he’s dangerous as it comes. But drops…bobbles…just not natural catching is the move description.
May 23, 20251 yr 5 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said:RBBC mean you play the best guy for the situation you are in, Sanders was a mediocre RB. Siri cannot afford to play favorites, his job is to make his boss look good and accomplish that as he sees fitSanders had plenty of flaws. But Siri treated him like he was terrible as a receiver…while Gainwell was so superior. Yet Sanders rookie season before Siri he received more yardage than Gainwell career he ever could produce. So bad evaluation there by Siri. Also Siri wanted Sanders to change his style. One cut north and south. Which Sanders adapted and did. Works great and what should be done behind Stouts guys. Elsewhere in a bad O without our Oline…not going to be great. Need to create so much more examples like Barry Sanders did. Sanders didn’t just one cut rush. So Sanders changed adapted to for for us…which rewarded his bank account in Charlotte. But doing that was devastating for his career to work there.
May 23, 20251 yr Anyway…Sanders don’t think was real bright bulb. Situational liability. But…had the ability to be gone given that crease our Oline so often creates. Crucial. Pancake equals TD or at least huge gains. Instead of limited burst RB that pancake equaled 8 yards first down.

But he’s faced a stacked box his entire career. Difference here is our Oline gives him that crease. Stack the box and the RB gets a lane he’s gone…nobody back there.
May 23, 20251 yr So actually he was loving the stacked box. How often did he rip off very long runs as a result? Seriously asking because I don’t know the exact number…it was more than I’ve ever seen

He is one of those rare RB that actually needs the heavy workload. Don’t think he would be near as effective used sparingly with a touch here and there. Been guys like that through history. Your statement would seem easy logic…but really doesn’t apply much to Barkley.
May 23, 20251 yr 17 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said:Alot of ours alsoI totally never just said he lacks experience. Key qualifier you skipped right over. He’s been nothing but dominating workload RB college and pros. Just go back and read my statement again…easiest way for you to understand how you completely misunderstood.

I have all 8 guys on Bark. Know any RB's that can break an 8 on 1?(yes I know it's an extreme example) and as far as a pancake, don't you think as you move through the playoffs those get harder to do when you face the top talent? Bark was great all year but he was keyed on in the SB(not just a box). That's the plan that allowed us to win, just a beautiful strategy by the newly extended coach HC you hate. Also Howie fixed that issue by bringing in Dillon, so Bark isn't beat up and wasted when it's his time to "choke" IDK what else you want the man to do (Bark) OH he dropped a pass, he sucks. Sad to report Bark is human
