We already will be carrying 4 with BVS. No way we carry 5.

IDK that we keep BVS either

I think he was plan B in case the tush push was banned. No facts to back this up, just a guess. Howie loves to plan ahead for all possibilities. Nothing against the kid, but FB is still a rarely used position. A St'er(74% of snaps) and he COULD be designated as a LB and not as a RB. We'll see how they handle it. Runs a 4.4 40 which is tremendous for Kid his size. That with his height and weight (231) fits the LB mold. Interesting dude, I just don't know what role you put him in.

Lack of roster knowledge showing up

Lambo, I’m glad you brought up the subject of "lack of knowledge.” I did a little homework about the Eagles passing offense over the past four Regular Seasons, and this is what I found based on ESPN’s team stats. In their two bad years they were middle of the pack and in their two Super Bowl years they were in the top 20% of the league.

— 2024 Regular Season the Eagles ranked 5th out of 32 with a QBR of 103.4

— 2023 Regular Season they ranked 19th out of 32 with a QBR of 89.2. It is interesting to note that Super Bowl champion Kansas City ranked 17th

— 2022 Regular Season they ranked 6th out of 32 with a QBR of 99.0

— 2021 Regular Season they ranked 18th out of 33 with a QBR of 89.2

Consider how impressive that is in such a terrible scheme our players were overcoming.

Cooper DeJean got some reps as an outside (right) corner in the Eagles’ base package and slid inside on nickel downs

—with a ton of shallow crossers and quick-developing routes in practice today.

This sounds like it could be great. Just how badly would it have been nice the first three seasons if we had these.

35 year old long snapper

What Moore did was actually make it a scheme in fact.

But really needed to dial back that O. Just HC brilliance. Wouldn’t want those guys putting up 50 every game. That’s even with the worst game plan and scripts being given. Playcalling wasn’t great either.

Absolutely a great contract written by Howie.

Context is everything.

And in a team sport Offense isn’t everything … the combination of Defense and Offense and even Special Teams is collectively everything.

It would be great if he is a home run. He has been working directly with Hurts and the receivers for four years as the Passing Game Coordinator.

Interesting on his show with Acho and Jones... Shady reported that AJ basically said it doesn't matter who is the OC, because Hurts is in charge of that offense.

Booger McFarland doubled down on his show talking about the OC job, saying it doesn't really matter as the idea will be there to run the ball, use the running QB and the play action off of the run. Just a couple different wrinkles depending on who the OC is.

Agree... the whole puzzle. I've seen where we have the top ranked RB, OL and the 2nd ranked WR group...then there is Goedert who offers the whole package at TE. Plus the fact returning 10 starters on offense. That's a lot of talent and continuity on the offense.

It is interesting to see how Sirianni’s RPO Offensive scheme is now way way back in the rear view mirror. Do we run any RPOs any more?

Lions had the best OLine. Best RB duo. Sun God and Jameson Willams at WR. LaPorta TE. That’s really tough to beat. Loss of Ben Johnson pretty huge. But they have a quality OC replacement.

I take exception to what you have said! 😤🤯😤 Not a single Defensive player mentioned.

No. Hurts carries everyone else 😉
