Show me a table of who they were and what they went for. Actually if you provide the names I’ll look up what they cost

Dig it up yourself. I’m the one remembering all of this.

Who said he wasn't?

The guy HurtsHating blaming him for all the coaching short comings towards him

Actually it’s exactly the discussion. Couldn’t win a game without Hurts until Moore.

Got Shew and Mariota…along with several others. None looked their best here under Siri. All better elsewhere instead.

What you should have noticed is the difference. Moore brought a real scheme and answers. All that was lacking for three years.

All these things Hurts supposedly just couldn’t do…he instantly was doing with one season under Moore.

So if he just wasn’t capable…Moore wouldn’t have mattered, right? But just gets one decent O mind I don’t even like and think is anything special. Anything provided has been displayed and reflected.

Our whole O reads and adjusted to the D. Just in 2024 finally. That’s not just Hurts. Clearly whole O scheme. It wasn’t there fir three years.

Tanner has shown well right from day one really. He has something. Having him in place…yet still Rosie traded for Pickett. There were several QBs to choose right at that moment also. Like Fields…and several guys. Rosie actually gave up more than any of the others ended up even costing for Pickett.

No live snaps. All projection.

I view Pickett not even as backup..,but developed into backup. Which maybe he’s at now.

Not by you, but by enough others he was viewed as a 1st Round pick.

Hurts throws over the middle when Smitty or AJ are moved there by Moore. Again…you completely blamed Hurts inability to throw over the middle. Yet….we had a blocking TE in Stoll or a blocking WR in the Slot. Options stunk…really Rosie struck out all the way hard at getting that third WR. Really he was striking out at anything other than Smitty. That whole offseason every single target Rosie whiffed on. Which worked out perfect. Hurts recruiter AJ.

Well…Pickett had proven poorly though. So comparison isn’t really in Pickett’s favor,

20/20 Hindsight

But terrible Slot WR known for their blocking….so obvious a reasoning for lesser passing to those guys. Yet you fault Hurts.

Nah…it’s Pickett got opportunity and had bad film versus Tanner had no film

You exactly. Just faulted him for all those shortcomings

It’s so much more than just this single piece even though here. You need to research just how most fans felt Rosie was setting everything up to go after a QB in 2022.

That is your imagination speaking. I’ve queried the web and there is nothing one single piece of evidence the Eagles were interested in a QB at all, let alone specifically Pickett.

My take FWIW. Last season Siri( *the CEO) delegated the O to Moore and the D to Fangio. he allowed Moore to run whatever O scheme he wanted to. We went 2-2 and the O was not reaching the potential Siri wanted. 1/2 way through the Browns game Siri had had enough and at 1/2 time he dialed it back. Along comes the bye week, O line, Stoutland and whomever also suggesting the present offense was not working towards their collective strengths. Siri heard all sides and decided the pullback would work to the team strengths and calm Hurts down from his run and gun college days. The RPO faded and replaced by more play/action feeding into our running game. Hurts settles into the KISS offense, the errors stopped, the picks stopped, the bonehead panics stopped. The O line was doing what they do best, protecting the QB and opening holes for Barkley. The days of 40 passes per game ended in favor or 25 with more emphasis on the running game and our newly acquired stud RB. It was a franchise changing decision. The rest as they say is history. Hurts found an offense he could deal with and love and his confidence grew. I suspect we see a little more passing this year because the running game is now always an established threat. Hurts learned from many sources and culminated in a SB win. That is how I saw it last year. If that is bad coaching I will take Siri all day long. The coaching was so "horrible" we put up 70 points with BACK UPS proving to me we can win even without Hurts. This doesn't mean I hate Hurts but rather the coaching for me can stay as long as it wants to. This is MY OPINION

Just address the beginning first. Moore was told he was running his O. But Siri immediately walked that back to keeping good parts of his own O and terminology. So completey just wrong. Siri made Mooore create a whole new O.

Skip to address just the end part. That’s when Moore finally got back control again. Yeah even backups showed well with our O under Moore ways instead of Siri.

See we had Oline injuries early. So easy to just say run the ball and attack. Pass blocking way more complicated and takes more thought.

But seems I’m the only one with understandings towards Moore just created the O. Never tested. Starters didn’t even play any PS.

I thought we didn't have QB coaches. How did others learn but Hurts did not with the same coaches?

So brand new O tested four games…exactly the sample to then adjust and evaluate things.

When ? Any other season than 2924? Nope. Stay with me. This is exactly my point indeed.

Rosie was very involved scouting Pickett. He made trades acquiring the first round draft ammo for the next season to go after a QB.

How do you explain the fact that with all that ammo he ignored QB completely. He could have chosen Pickett instead of Davis. He could have chosen Pickett instead of AJ

Siri cost us the ATL game. Siri actually made a few bad decisions to start 2024. So really should have been 3-1 team losing to Bucs in heat missing too many starters to injury that day.
