What players could ever overcome and succeed under a different coach every dang year? Should have been career killing situation for Hurts.

A) awesome O line(every year he's been here) B) Top talent all around him(every year he's been here) 2) Tush push as a weapon(last 2 years)

10-1 was a disaster?

Hurts was guiding the second ranked O at that point. The disaster was once teams figured out the book on our O there was no adjustments forthcoming. Still finished as the 7th ranked O. Think about that for one second. Hurts has raised the bar so high…you are so upset and trashing Hurts because he dropped down to the 7th ranked NFL O. Still top 10…yet you treat him like he was 32nd. It was the 2nd ranked O before teams figured us out.

Yeah those are the reasons why he’s overcome different coaches in college and the pros all these years….not.

Sorry you can't see reality with your Hurts blinders on. nice spin though, you should be in politics

Whom did we play after that 10-1 start? What team telecasted the book on our O to the whole league?

In college he had to transfer because he wasn't good enough to start. In the pros he was eased in and had awesome O lines and great weapons ever since-FACTS. He's a great runner and a mediocre passer

You blamed Johnson for a 10-1 start. Only 1 game shy of perfection yet it's all his fault LMAO

Completely on the failure of coaches to adjust. Book came out and was exposed on our O. Coaches always have to self scout and adjust. That’s the job for them. Failed to ever adjust. But before even then the O never has gelled together as one unit. Johnson’s inexperience was on full display all season. No cohesion in his game plans or playcalling the whole time.

Only spin is trying to make it like a negative Hurts has been a part of getting several of these guys promotions. It clearly has been a negative he did so great Steichen got the Colts job. That is true. If only Hurts didn’t have such a fantastic season maybe Steichen doesn’t get the Colts job…then our whole O is commanded by some coaching that’s competent.

These coaches all got promoted????   Just curious... who were the WRs on these teams?

UH ,After 11 games teams know what other teams do by then. It happens every year

He was great for Hurts as QB coach. It wasn’t all just Johnson’s inexperience and failure to be capable to adjust. It was the loss of him as the QB coach. He was the very right guy for the QB coaching job with Hurts.

Coaches needing to self scout and adjust does happen most every year.

SO let me understand,if a coach leaves he takes everything he taught you with him?? You have to unlearn it all OR do you store it away to improve????

Heck can happen several different moments throughout the long season grind.

I’d clearly state Hurts has benefitted from learning from so many very knowledgable minds.

Maybe why he is gone, but we were 10-1 when he was here, hardly a "disaster". Maybe he gave up because Hurts peaked at his ability to learn and priogress

Alabama and Oklahoma...who were the WRs there... isn't the guy in Dallas from Oklahoma?

Now the next coach has to deal with the same stuff.
