Obviously Goodell is so motivated to stop us….simple scenario is he could just negotiate and concede something to the NFLPA in return.

He works for the owners. His motivation means nothing, it's theirs

Not true. Top priority…but not only thing. How can you deny any athlete giving their all in the biggest moment? Career defining. My whole life been hearing about what guys did in SBs….as the biggest defining career game. Every sport really.

Overcame the poor QB play early as I showed in my previous posts

Terrible game planning by coaching…but maybe guys didn’t come out ready to play(might be a factor as well).

You didn’t show anything like that

So Ham are you going to answer this question?

Not likely for whatever reasons you asked such a weak question

Big talk, but they are going down again no matter what they think. We're at home, we're better, we block, they don't have the personnel to "defeat" that. Drop BVS in and watch him pancake their plans and they can cry all the way back to LA which is great because it's a long flight back to obscurity LOL

Have everybody breaking down every nuisance on us with the target on our backs.

I absolutely admit I don’t pretend to know every trick Goodell can pull from his sleeves. But I did hear some rumors of that he had a way he could get rid of the void years by league executive powers….then the NFLPA would have to battle to reverse the move. I don’t think a single one of the 32 owners even understands every single option Goodell and his team of lawyers can pull.

Goodell represents the owners. I don't think you get that concept. It's not his league, it's the owners league. Where did you hear these " rumors"?

He negotiated for the owners....not himself!

The key word you used is "might”. What gives you reason to believe he "might” have a way … might have the power?

Because it's about Goodell and against the Eagles.... it fits a narrative of a movie or book where there is a clear villain and conspiracy.. . But has zero use for reality of how things work.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a one-year rental for Hendrickson as an Eagle is a win for him and a win for the Eagles. Have a banner year as an Eagle and then cash in during Free Agency as a UFA. It sure beats sitting out a year.

That really would be a nuisance.

No, the statistics showed that.

With that said, I personally hold Moore and his high risk passing-oriented scheme for that. It puts any QB in a difficult position. Hurts’ numbers in those games were no worse than Dak’s numbers in similar games when Moore was in Dallas. Once Hurts started operating in the Stoutland/Johnson scheme the problems went away.

I think everything helped a little last year after the bye. They got healthy, the defense was better, they got more into their groove with familiarity, ... and the big one where the QB played his game, just to win, ... and the team called the game accordingly.

It's a very difficult team to beat when they can play in front of the sticks and use a 3 yard run and a 5 yard pass to their advantage. Plus the QB's threat of a run.

Passing too much keeps the opposing DL in pass rush mode, avoiding our strength as a run blocking OL, and could lead to too many 3rd and longs.

It's a tough team with this offense to stop on 3rd and 3 or 4.... with 4th and 1 having to stop the QB sneak.

It became his next attempt..,immediately after The ban…FAILED!

Right, he couldn't ban the tush push... so how is going to ban something that benefits all the owners?

They didn't want to score, they wanted to figure out the other team. If we scored, fine, but the feel out process is what won many games. You spend 15 minutes figuring out their plan and the other 45 taking it apart. seems like that worked????? I'm fine with doing that again(and again and again)

See that’s where quality coaching can at least get even fairly mediocre Os some points. What you are saying, but not realizing your acknowledging, is the coaching gameplan film study work is the issue. Everybody feels out the opponent each game. But quality film study can pick some keys to take advantage of each week. Dictate to the D….like you seem to mention we do…in any other conversation but concerning this one specific issue. Should be able to come up with a few key plays targeting film studies weakness.

I don’t think k it needs to just be a one year rental. He’s a proven consistent stud. Be great ti get him here for the next three years. The next two have been my hyper focused contending window opportunity I believe we should be swinging for…ALL IN!

The statistics show a poor gameplan and script…very consistently. Also could question just how ready to play the O was each week coming right out of the pucker room at the start.

Yeah…you’ll be needing to raise your standard to much higher level of questioning.

You need to actually look into this much more. It’s effecting the balance of the league. It is an advantage for us…because of Lurie. You seem to miss plenty of what occurs with our organization so much. You endlessly heap praise on Rosie…when really this is more about the liquid cash money Lurie makes available. All owners and teams are dealing with the same cap. That part I don’t think is really much of an issue for majority of teams. Seems a franchise here and there struggle some just with this part of the financials…many times just due to extra crap going on around everything with the ownership and/or team financials.

Things have changed..even the Packers and Steelers were forced to adapt to compete financially. Rams and Eagles are prime examples of ownership franchises capable of scratching together those extra levels of liquid cash. We have a huge financial pocket protector numbers and contracts department of employees working for the Eagles. Lurie feels real involved with an understanding about gaining an advantage doing this. Organizations need to actually have liquid available funds for these signing bonuses instantly.

We really utilize other bonus cash chunks in these contracts also. Especially bigger contracts. Especially works great for those first contract extension deals. Believe there is direct correlation between the character and player types we’ve been focused on collecting and building with lately. Retain quality rookies by extending them with a chunk of signing bonuses instant money. Hitting these athletes early with that cash on extending helps. They haven’t made that real NFL money yet. So get a good life changing chunk of change in their bank accounts as early as it’s possible. Then put in a Roster Bonus or equal way to back up the next year with another big chunk of cash payout.

Athletes that aren’t super greedy and manage financials serviceably this method can work for.

Then you have the opposite spectrum from those rookies first extensions…those older retiring stud vets. Get them those straight cash deals they can’t refuse. One year contract with void years backloading the cap hit.
